The Norman Wedding!

Tyler and Camden were married saturday!! They had a really pretty ceremony down in Dana Point overlooking the harbor and their reception was at Johns. It was werid to see Johns house transformed into a wedding site! They did an awesome job, everything turned out great, they were both so happy with it. We danced, drank, ate yummy food and did the cha cha slide.... twice!!! Luke and Gianna were ecstatic! We had a great time.... and were for sure paying for it the next day. I went back the next morning cuz i forgot my camera and John had been cleaning all morning. I laughed cuz he did not look so hot! Gianna and I spent most the next day relaxing at the pool with the kids while the boys went bowling. Congrats Ty and Camden... were so happy for you guys!!! Now start popping out them babies :)

Maddie Turns 1!!

I cannot believe that Maddison is 1 already! It feels like just yesterday i spent all day in that hospital room kicking Jeffs butt at cribbage while Lindsay fought to stay awake with that epidural lol! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this child! Anyone who has seen her knows she has to be one of the most gorgeous kids you have ever seen and her personality makes her that much more cute. Shes hysterical. The boys LOVE their "Maddie Moo" too. They are so cute with her. Lindsay and jeff had her party at her parents house so all the kids swam and had hot dogs and the adults made their own party with beer pong on the front lawn... it looked like something straight out of south central.... John pulled his escalade into the driveway and had his music blaring and here are all these guys playing, drinking and relaxing with their shirts off in the front yard. Classic. It was like 90 degrees out too! perfect day for a pool party... HAPPY 1st TO THE MADDIE MOO!!

After the party we headed to Lala and Bmoes to BBq and go in the spa... the kids were exhausted so it was a short night! But everyone was pretty entertaining!

BUNCO TIME!!

I didnt realize how much I had been missing bunco til we had a bunco party friday night. Cal and J had everyone over to bunco it up.... guess who won?!?!??!!? ME!!!! I won for most wins... which meant I won $75! Ya i was pumped! J won for most buncos and Jake for most losses! Marc and Brandi came too so we left Hunter and Ky with the kids at our house and drove down the street to theirs. Worked out perfect. So excited Hunter and Ky are at the age they can stay with our kids for awhile!! Best babysitters!! Anyways, great night full of booze, buncos, obnoxious winners (such as myself) and sore losers (like Jake who took some of my winnings when he won for most losses lol jk Jake!!)!! There was actually one game me and Jake were on the same team and we had 2 buncos and 5 mini buncos in the same round! It was the best! I love Bunco!

Finally HEAT!!!

The whole week was a scorcher... I was loving it! Erin and i finally took the kids down to the little water park here in Ladera... so easy espcially with Keira cuz I dont have to worry about anyone drowning since there is no pool! We were there for 4 hours that day... needless to say my kids were wiped! Cant wait for summer now...

Easter Extravaganza!!

You all know Easter for us is a busy holiday... but one of my faves. We started the day with our own Easter egg hunt but no baskets. I know Im awful arent I?? My kids totally thought so. However I thought this year rather than doing a bunch of crap in eggs and stupid toys I would rather spend the money on something big and useful. So the easter bunny got the boys a sand and water table for the patio. And they were excited however not excited about the fact there were no baskets with guys and candy like every other year. Terds. They did there egg hunt around the house and of course before I could even make breakfast they had broken into the candy. Today was gonna be a long dayyyyy......... Next stop, the Portas household! Every year we go to Lari's parents for an egg hunt with her family. Lari makes baskets (or lunchboxes like this year) for Jack, Wy and her two nephews Beckham and Owen. Then she stuffs eggs full of toys, bandaids, cars, candy, all the goods and writes their names on them for all the kids to find. The boys love it. They are always so nice to have us their with their family... and were lucky to get to spend easter with Ethan and Lari too! We had sangrias and tons of food while the kids all played with their new stuff. Then it was off to the next party!!!

Final stop... the Erwin house. Yet another egg hunt, more food, more candy, more wine, more fun. The whole fam dam was there. We went down to the bluff for awhile to fly kites which was hilarious. Luke couldnt get Wyatts to fly for the life of him which turned into him running down the street chasing it, jumping up and down tryint to get it outta a tree and jogging through the parking lot just trying to get it in the sky. I almost wet myself I was laughing so hard. Comedy. I also watched my sister in law Jenny sprint to get a kite, my newphew Hunter and my dad. Kite idea was the best thing ever, way to go ME!!! After kite flying we headed back to the house for another egg hunt=more candy. UGHHH! Then dinner and cake... worst idea, definetely not mine!! My kids teeth were gonna fall out! It was a good day but a long one at that. Gotta love Easter!!
