YeeHAW!!!

Our friend John turned 30 in December and the day after xmas we had his surprise cowboy pub crawl! There were probably about 30-40 of us in a huge bus driving all over from 2pm-8pm. We all had to dress as cowboys, you can imagine the extreme some of the guys took it to. Such as Luke who you will see on the far left side of this picture in the black wranglers with the red, white and blue bud light cowboy shirt. UGH! Anyways, we had an awesome time... HAPPY 30TH JOHNNY!!!!

XMAS 2009

Ok you all know how our xmases go... so i wont get into detail... (I have ltos more posts to get up in order to be caught up!!) The night before xmas eve we did xmas with the Eide family. Jon (Luke's boss) and Jill had us over for tacos and to exchange gifts. To Jons dismay I got Sophia some YoGabbaGabba toys lol and they spoiled the boys with tech decks, board games and the coolest little tv video thing for Wy. You plug it in to the tv, u can plug in your ipod or cd player, and there is a camera so the kids dance to the tunes and they show up on TV. They loved it!!! Which brings me to xmas eve at my parents, I brought the tv thing and the four little kids (and a little bit of Nana and Kylee) rocked out for like an hour!! It was hilarious, we had kids break dancing, putting shirts over their heads, doing the fish, the robot, you name it. We had dessert... Gift time... they waited patiently for awhile. Then it got obnxious. The kids opened their pjs and the ones from Marc and Eric since they werent spending the night, along with a movie of course to watch in bed that night. However stupid me gave jack the wrong thing, instead of the Monsters vs Aliens movie I let him unwrap Indiana Jones Wii Game. Grrrr. All of us kids went in together and got my parents new golf bags, my mom got a pink one of course and Luke picked out a snazzy Ogio one for my dad. The kids put out cookies and milk for Santa and we got a quick pic of all the boys in their xmas pjs before bed.

Oh and one of the girls! Strangely enough we all had white long sleeve shirts on that night so totally matched. It was a little gay lol
Christmas day... let the madness begin.... enough said..... oh except maybe a few things, such as... WALKING DINOS, LOTS OF MUCH NEEDED SWEATSHIRTS, PEPPERMINT JOJOS FOR WY, BIG HUGS FOR BROTHERS WHEN THEY GET EACH OTHER AWESOME GIFTS, TRAINS FROM GAMMY AND MOST OF ALL THOSE DAMN ZHU ZHU PETS! PS DONT MIND WYATTS DISGUSTING MOP ON HIS HEAD (YES I HAVE SHAVED IT SINCE)!
That night... the norm. Over to Ethan and Laris for dinner (delicious dinner made by Chef Ethan!), gifts and gingerbread houses! Sorry for the lack of pics... I kept forgetting!!!
Anyways, a merry merry xmas our clan had and I hope yours had a great one as well! MERRY CHRISTMAS!! XOXO

Next Wedding....

..... is coming up in May. We get a little wedding break for awhile... PHEW!! But we are in a little bit of plan mode anyways. Brian Morales (AKA BMoe, Pams brother, Lukes BFF since 2nd grade) and Lauren (AKA Auntie Lala and Bmoes gf for the last gazillion years) have asked a few of the Brady men to join them in the wedding. First we got a package in the mail for Luke, a cigar with a note rolled up inside with it.....

.... couldnt believe a guy pulled that off all by himself. So impressed Bmoe. So you can imagine how fast Luke jumped on the planning of the Bachelor party. Oh and got together with the rest of the wedding party to smoke their cigars. But you can bet they still dont have suits picked out yet for the actual day. Go figure. BOYS!!
Well the week after, I got a phone call from Lala who wanted to talk to Jackson. She had kinda already mentioned to him that he would be carrying rings but she wanted to officially ask him and talk to me about it. But this is how the conversation went when he picked up the phone.
J:''Hello?"

L:" Hey buddy... what are u doin?"

J:" Hi... Just playing power rangers with my brother... I still wanna carry your rings!!!"

L: (laughing hysterically) "Ok you do? You have to get dressed up and walk down the aisle, and take pictures and ..."

J:" I know!!!! I want to!"

And that was the gist of it. Think hes excited much?!?! I am actually pretty excited to see him in this wedding... hes gonna do great, I know it.... thank god its not Wyatt. Stubborn little terd. But anyways, we are excited for them and feel honored that they have chosen these boys to be a part of their big day!!!

Santa and Sleigh Rides

My kids saw Santa TWICE this year. Yes the kids who DESPISED Santa every year, who would scream and cry and run the other way if we came within 50 yards of Santa or his little house at the mall. I know how great the crying kids with Santa pics are. But it wasnt worth it for me before. They would cause a scene from the moment they saw him or his house. Um ya EMBARRASSING! Could you imagine me standing in line with kids like that for 15 minutes or an hour. HA Id rather shove pencils in my eyeballs. Forget it! Keep in mind these kids fall off their chairs and lay frozen screaming when they see Chuck e Cheese come out. Well this year I asked them if they wanted to see Santa, they both replied excitedely YES!!! Still meant nothing to me. My friend Candice and I took the kids to the mall. The boys were still excited. Still meant nothing to me. We ate lunch. We walked towards Santas house. No tears. Still meant nothing. Santa was on his lunch break. BS. I was getting anxious. Santa came back. My kids saw him, got excited. Still meant nothing. We were next in line. They weren't crying, shaking, peeing their pants. Yet still meant nothing to me. They both walked right up to Santa sat on his lap and this happened.....

YES YOU SEE SMILES!!!!!! Can u freakin believe it!!! HOLY CRAP! I almost died. Couldnt beieve it! Then talked to him like they were old friends. I was ecstatic! Trip one, done! Well right before xmas we went to our annual Santa and Sleigh Rides at Kent and Kathy Fitch's house. Every year they have us all over, cookies hot chocolate, rent "reindeer" and sleighs for the kids(or a horse and carriage, whatever) and Santa comes to see them. Well my kids saw Santa AGAIN and sat on his lap and told him what they wanted.

Weird and AMAZING! Best thing ever. So this year I had TWO official Santa pictures. THANK YOU BOYS!!! We took Keira with us, who wanted nothing to do with Santa or the sleigh ride really. LOL But otherwise had a great time. The boys with Boston and Radyn waiting for Santa.... notice the 3 year old stuffing their faces... weird.

Superstars!

Jackson had his first football banquet after quite the exciting year of flag football. It was awesome. It was at the Norman P Murray Center, Italian food catered, they showed the highlight video which was awesome, gave out trophys and awards and then some!! Luke got a big basket from the team mom, for all his help all season long on the field. So he and two other dads got a six pack of beer, complete with their own personal Cowboys labels... Lukes was called King Kong Brew. We were asked to give a quote to the team mom at the end of the year for the books she made for the team. A quote that you said to your child, or portrayed your child, or he said, whatever... so Luke sent in Jacks "King Kong aint got nothin on me!" LOL He was so right!! Hence the King Kong Brew.

There were some other little prizes in there as well. But nothing compared to the kids baskets. HOLY MOLY! I swear our team mom was superwoman! Jacksons basket was filled with goodies. A stuffed cowboys football, a plastic football, cowboys stickers, keychains, a cowboys backpack with their names on them, a NICE fitted cowboys hat, and best of all a Championship jacket. They all got windbreaker jackets with all their teammates names on the back and superbowl champions, etc etc. They were awesome. She did such a great job!!! They were some lucky boys. They got their Championship trophys, which Jack was pumped about cuz it was "the biggest trophy hed ever had!" Jackson was also awarded with a scholar athlete certificate and patch. Throughout the season we had to bring in good grade papers every week and the kids with the most stars/A's or whatever (not much in k-2 grade) at the end of the season got awards, so Jack was a "scholar athelete".
And all the coaches said a speech about each player and they all got an individual award. Well Coach Chris (as you all know him, Chris Badraun) gave Jacks speech. He was so pumped to give this speech. Jackson was like his baby out there. And I had a HUGE amount of comfort knowing that Jackson had Chris out there with him. For those who dont know, Chris and I go way back. WAAAY back lol. We were best friends throughout hs, lived together when we were 20/21. He married my best friend and now I am lucky enough to have him in Jacksons life, and playing a WAY bigger role than I ever thought he would. Jack had a one up on the other new kids because he already knew 3 out of 4 of the coaches, since the day he was born, they were all the Badraun brothers, so I know it gave him some extra confidence coming into this. However, Chris didnt even think Jackson would make it all season. Being the youngest, smallest kid out there, and being put on the line. HA! I wasnt sure if he would make it. And look what happened. The kid destroyed people, 2 at a time most plays!! Kids 2 or 3 times bigger than him! CRAZY!! Chris was there all season, not giving him special treatment but pushing him and giving him more and more confidence along the way, but in a way he knew Jack would respond, ok so a little special treatment I guess :) . And Jackson listened to him and knew him and ADORES Chris so did everything to please him as well. They had a special little bond out there ;0) So needless to say Chris had been talking about making Jacks speech for weeks!!! So when it came time, poor Christopher was so nervous he could barely spit out words. LOL But it was cute, and he got his point across, and he awarded Jackson with the award as the Most Improved Offensive Player of the Year. VERY much deserved. We were some proud parents, I know Chris was too ;)!

BABIESSSSS!!!

So over the last two months we have had a few new babies born around here.. imagine that?!? Sorry mommys i havent posted yet, those cute little faces have not been forgotten!! Here are the few that have made their debut recently....

Miss Kenadee Lyn Blum.... My friends Justin and Lindsay had baby #2 on October 27th. 8lbs 6oz and 20.5 inches long. She was a giant like her big brother Gavin... and was ALL Blum. I dont even know if Lindsay has a part in these children they look so much like dad. LOL. But she is perfect and gorgeous and sooo mellow. In fact, Lynz and I have our little wine nights and I just get to hog the perfect little lady! Oh and did I mention I got to take pics of her before xmas too... I threw my fave one in from their shoot just cuz. Love her! Congrats Blum family!!!
WELCOME TO THE WORLD BABY KENA!!!

Miss Paige Louise Ritter.... Shannon and Jared welcomed baby Paige home on November 15th. 7lbs 3oz and 19.5 inches long. I was so anxious for this one cuz I couldnt wait to see Jared with his new baby girl. Mr rough and tough football guy, who I knew was gonna be a nervous wreck! LOL and hes done amazing!! They are such laid back parents and sooooo happy, I love it and I love seeing them with their new perfect addition. Really, she is PERFECT!! Congrats Shannon and Jared, love u guys!!!HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY PAIGE!!!

Mr Logan Maverick Braucht... Tannaz and Erik welcome baby boy number 2 on November 19th. She is a double c section, double boy mom like me :) LOL I was so excited when they picked the name Logan, that was one of the names I wanted for my kids but Luke wouldnt let me :( but besides that Erik kept coming up with weird crap like Gunner and Maverick and stuff like that. I was scared for Tannaz. She compromised and let Maverick be a middle name, but I wont lie, I really like it as a middle. Its kinda cool :) Logan joined his big bro gavin and hes pretty much in love. How could you not be with a face like this tho.... Congrats Braucht family!!! XOXOWELCOME MR LOGAN MAVERICK!!!

Brayden's 1!!!!

Holy cow! Cannot believe this little man is one. It feels like just yesterday my tiny little nephew arrived. And now hes a huge hunka hunka burnin love, really hes just such a sweet boy and never fails to flash a huge grin your way. I just love him to death...I took B's pics and made his invite on my computer for them. Turned out pretty cute I must say, but how could they not with a face like this!!Ash and Eric had a Lakers themed party for him at the park by my parents house. Complete with a huge giant cupcake for him to dig into (courtesy of my friend Ambra). This cupcake was my nemesis however, since I picked it up from Ambra that morning and didnt realize the top of the cupcake actually slid off the bottom and it went flying across the front of my car leaving my seats, dash, center consoles and numerous articles of clothing BRIGHT YELLOW!!! Grrrrrr. But he loved it and thats all that mattered! It was freezing that day, and windy and getting ready to rain. Luckily they escaped that part. But the kids had a great time nonetheless. As did the bday boy.

Happy 1st Birthday Baby B!! We love you! XOXOXO

More Sickos!!!!

We have had quite the few months of being sick. Its like the germ fairy came and sprinkled her dust on everyone that walked through my front door. Its awful. Right after thanksgiving (keep in mind Jackson had a week off for thanksgiving from school) Jack got a fever. Monday morning, the morning mom was supposed to be rejoicing that school was back in full swing, he woke up with a fever. Felt fine, which made it even worse in my opinion, I mean if youre gonna be sick, BE SICK! Lay there and dont move and watch a million movies, dont run around, be loud, cause problems and make people cry! AHHHHH!!! Tuesday-same. Wednesday- no fever but woke up with a barking seal cough. Thursday- still a cough and at this point I was DONE! I just wanted him back at school. I called the dr. Took him in, he was borderling bronchitis and croup so she gave me a ZPACk for him and out the door we went. Friday- might as well keep him home at that point. Grrrr. Sunday- got home around 5pm (Luke was at his Natl Sales Meeting for work), got outta the car and Wy threw a fit about something. As he freaked out about whatever god for saken reason he was freaking out for, he started to take huge gasps of air and finally says to me "I CANT BREATHE!!" Ya my heart about dropped. Ive dealt with croup before, I know how to handle it and what to do so I calmed him down (even though I was still a bit panicked) and he was able to breathe a little better. Then I threw in the car and took him to the ER. They gave him steroids there, sent me home with a prescription, and Wy slept through the night just fine. Well of course if the boys get sick, so do the girls! By Monday both girls were sick too. Jack was back at school (WOOOHOOOO!!!) but I had three sickos at home. Fun huh?! Fun week full of snot, hacking and fevers. Then wednesday came around again (he had only been back at school for three days at this point). He came home from school that day and said "Mom my tummy hurts". I told him to go poo. (My solution for everything!). Well he did. MASSIVE POOP SLABBERS! Poop slabbers in Brady language= DIAHRREA!!! Whatever, no big deal right?! I figured it was from the antibiotics anyways. Thursday- kept him hom so he wouldnt poop his pants at school. Yes he still had poop slabbers. Friday- same. Well come monday he was still pooping. And now so was Keira. Took him back to the dr. They said it wasnt from antibiotics but now had a stomach bug. WHAT!?!?! This is a joke. The kid was still recovering from bronchitis and now this? Wellll, oh yes it gets better. Tuesday he was finally better but I was still worried so I kept him home. Put the girls down for naps and I was exhausted, and dizzy. I just wanted to take a nap. By the time the girls woke up I couldnt even stand up for more than a minute. I finally called Luke, he came home, Ive never had to do that. I went to bed. Oh but did I mention before Luke got home, Wyatt had poop slabbers. Ya fun, his went on for about 4 days also. After about an hour, I had poop slabbers. And barf. And couldnt move. Stuck in bed all day wednesday. Finally let Luke go back to work thursday, after helping me in the am. Wasnt completely normal til sunday. Ya fun weeks for us here. A continuous sick cycle here. Its insane. And once one of them are sick, they all are. And the parents sometimes. Its so insane, and im so tired of disinfecting this house I am going crazy! Ive been pumping everyone full of vitamins and pro biotics now. Hopefully it works. YUCK!

Big Boy Weekend!!

The boys had a long weekend. And for mom it was AWESOME! We went to Radyns bday party friday night. He had a football party, so the kids played flea ball and wore themselves out. Jack was going to Radyns to spend the night after so I told Jen Id take Boston home with me and the 3 year olds can have their first official big boy sleepover. Jack and Radyn have been doing it forever now so it was about time the little bros got in on the action. They LOVED it!!! They played forever, never heard a peep outta them. They finally went to bed about 11pm. Then slept til 9. Well Robert took the big kids to the Cowboys games at 9am, it was playoffs for the older teams. Then dropped them both off at Jonah's bday party at 1pm(another friend from the team). Since he had that party my mom had asked if she could take Wyatt to her neigbors bday party. Carter is 4 and him and the boys get along great. So I dropped Boston at home at noon and took Wyatt to my moms. I was home by myself for four hours. Luke was working. Kids were in two different places. It was like the first dose of having big kids. You know, when your kids are old enough that they are always with friends and you hardly ever see them all weekend. Ya, it was nice. LOL. I picked Jack up at 5pm, but Wyatt spent the night at my moms. His first official sleepover somewhere else without brother. So strange. The next day was Braydens bday party so Jack and I finally got our Wy wy back at 1pm. We partied for awhile then ended up in the ER later.
