What a Weekend!

My o my where do I begin.... I was really looking forward to the 4 day weekend, Luke would be home, Jack didnt have school, we could get ready for the next holiday and maybe even hang out with our friends. Nothing quite works out the way you want it to though.....

Thursday was a good day, you have already heard about that. Then friday rolled along, I thought we would take out all our xmas stuff, decorate the tree, hang some lights. However, Luke decided he was going to be sick, again. He spent most of friday laying in bed watching tv, and sleeping. The kids and I put up a tree up in the playroom and decorated it and began to rummage through our xmas stuff. When I finally put them down for naps, Luke came upstairs and said "Im going to the dr." Only thing I could think of was "Well, shit!" This stupid sinus thing will not stop haunting him. The dr gave him yet some more antibiotics (i can imagine his immune system is just totally shot by now) and he came home and slept some more, and some more. So Im sure you can all guess what that meant for me.... yup, i was sleeping in the bonus room on the couch, again.

On saturday we began decorating, and o my gosh you would never believe how much stuff we had. But it looked good at the end of the day and that was all that mattered. When I finally put the kids down for a nap, I went and ran errands with Caley. She needed a bunch of stuff for the tree and I wanted to get some lights so Luke could start the outside when he felt better (which i knew wouldnt be that day!) By the time we were done it was 530 and we were starving. Luke was feeling like abslute crap so I went to get him a pizza and Cal and I took the boys to Lamppost to meet some friends. The poor boys had been couped up for two days with their sick dad so they needed the break as much as I did. Afterwards, Caley decided she wanted to conquer the tree her parents gave her. So we had a glass of wine, and began. Well after two hours and four or five falling trees, we decided it was a lost cause. What a night mare! She ended up buying a new stand the next day and getting it up no problem. Figures huh.

Sunday Luke woke up a bit more chipper to say the least and was ready to put up lights, thank god!!! So he went out around one and began. Our street rented a huge crane so everyone could do their 2nd and 3rd story roofs and Luke kept thinking he could use a ladder. HAHAHAH! These roofs are sooo steep. I laughed at him. So the thought ran through our mind to use the crane, however it would cost us $150 and we would have been using it in the dark cuz it was the last day we had it and there were two or three people ahead of us. So we just did the bottom of the house, and the tree which was hilarious. I think the last and final finshing touch was the 8ft snowglobe on the front lawn. The house turned out good and we were might proud of ourselves. Jackson kept asking if he could go inside the snow globe and play. We were dying. The kids played outside the whole time on their bikes, and Wyatt who refused to wear shoes (so his fathers child) was a black dirty mess. Jack did his usual flamingo moves for us on his razor. We ate dinner and watched the Eagles game (ummm, great game, I think Mcnabb needs to be traded ASAP!). And of course we went out to admire our lights when it really got dark.
I dont think I told you but I am DONE xmas shopping! Luke and I went two weekends ago and did everything. My parents took the kids for the day and they went and had lunch at the harbor and walked around and bought big sharks that they are obssessed with now. Luke and I had the whole day to just get stuff done. First we went to lunch, a quiet kid free lunch (we even sat at the bar to eat and have a drink, or two, or three) and it was so nice. We never get to do that. Then it was off to shop. I was so excited. Now I can not stress about xmas shopping and enjoy the season. Are you jealous yet???? I emailed all my siblings to ask them what their kids wanted/needed so it made shopping a bit easier. And they asked what the boys wanted so it was nice to actually figure it all out amongst ourselves rather than winging it with a bunch of random junk. So excited to be finsihed though!

I had to add this picture of Jack from last night. We got home from looking at xmas lights and he and his brother were admiring the big globe (and trying to knock it over). Jack started dancing around and we kept asking him if he needed to go potty. Finally he just turned around, whipped down his shorts and peed on the front walk way, for all the neighbors to see. SOOO embarrassing! Then he stood there with his pants down around his ankles like he wanted everyone to see.... Luckily there were only two neighbors out at the time. BOYS!!!! O and later we were wrestling and he called me a BUTT NUGGET!!!!! AHHHHHHHHAHAHHAHAHAH! I was dying....

ANYWAYS.......... HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!! (sorry kinda blurry but for some reason I couldnt get it to come out good, Im assuming becuase of the lights!)

Turkey Day

I love Thanksgiving. I am still eating leftovers and it is the greatest. I will probably be 50lbs heavier by the time Im done but o well. We had a good one. Luke got up and went for a ride with his brother down in the canyon. He said they went down where the fires were and it was crazy to see all the burn areas.. most of them coming right up to peoples front doors but their houses were still standing. Shows how amazing those firefighters are! They were gone for a few hours and got home just in time to get ready and go. We went to my parents house, like always, and had all the traditional treats.... My mom and aunt cooked. My dad did the turkey (and him and I ate half of it during that time!) My favorite stuffing! Green bean casserole, and a new favorite of mine, creamed corn. DELICIOUS! Its seriously my favorite holiday. It was weird this year though... my two oldest brothers weren't there. And my youngest one went to his wifes familys first so he didnt even eat with us. It was way mellow and quiet but still great! My aunt and uncle and cousins were there, and Gammy of course. And my sisters ( I dont know if I am allowed to call him boyfriend yet) "friend" Bill was there, who Jackson just adores! All night long it was "Bill watch! Wheres Bill? Cmon Bill!" He is a cool guy and thinks Jackson and Wyatt are the coolest kids ever. Jack had a lot of fun with him. Im glad too cuz I think he missed all of his cousins (good thing Prker finally showed up!). Jack insisted on bringing his razor to Nana and Papas so he rode that in the backyard most of the night, doing his tricks. His newest one is the Flamingo... its hilarious. That kid just cracks me up! I drank red wine with dinner!!! (Sorry sidenote) I NEVER drink red wine, EVER! My brother Marc is a wine distributor too and evey time we are there I NEVER have any. But my dad pulled it out with dinner and I said sure why not. I actually really enjoyed it. Not as good as white but I still liked it. Marc will be proud! Anyways we had a great time, spent with family (even those that were missing were still thought of) and now I guess its time to get ready for xmas!!!!

How to Comment!

So after my post about leaving us a comment, haha, everyone has told me there isnt a comment button or cant figure it out... Here is the play by play. I think I confused everyone because I changed the comment button (in attempt to be cute and creative) to say "Cows Jumping Over the Moon".
So go to the bottom of the my entry for the day and it will say "Cows jumping over the moon". Click on it. You will then be at the comment section. Write your comment and if you are a google user you can sign in, if not just hit the anonymous bubble (just be sure to sign your name at the bottom of your comment). Then click on Publish comment.
Its really easy. Let me know if you still cant figure it out. But I just did it to make sure it worked and it does. Sorry if I confused you!

Luke's New Toy

After years of me saying "NOWAY!" he finally did it. He bought a street bike. Yes you heard right. No bueno! Scares the crap outta me! He has rode it to work the last two days and says he has been taking different ways because it has been so foggy. Then he proceeds to tell me how he went 80 down Antonio cuz nobody else was on the road. Ummmmm can you not tell me that??!! I know he isnt dumb on the thing and wouldnt chance anything but still, it gives me an uneasy feeling everytime he gets on it. (sigh) I hate them, motorcycles I mean. Scare the daylights outta me! Then to make matters worst, his brother went out yesterday and bought the SAME EXACT bike, just in a different color! WONDERFUL!!! Now he has a riding buddy which means more riding. What am I gonna do with these boys. Ethan came over last night to show it to Luke and they decided they are going to go for a ride tomorrow morning. Im sure Ill get used to it eventually but prepared to hear my motorcycle venting on here for the next few weeks/months/years!!! Aye yae yae! Now hes saying, "Im gonna get you a helmet so you can ride with me!" I looked at him like he had four heads and said "Over my dead body! Our kids need at least one of us still on earth!" UGHHHH it makes my hands sweat just thinking about it. I dont even like riding a jet ski with Luke and I landed in water, let alone on a motorcycle on the asphalt, NO THANK YOU!!!! Ill stick to my large, four door, seven passenger with seat belts, four wheel SUV please...........

On the brighter side of things.... the boys seem to be adjusting to the new house just fine. They love having the third floor all to themselves (Mommy too!) and I can finally leave Wyatt up there without him yelling for me to come back. His new thing is spitting. Great! He just learned how to spit so he thinks its the greatest thing since fruit snacks. Its so gross, and Jack doesnt help the situation, talk about instigating! Jack has a new word, again I dont know where it came from or what it means but everything/everyone is a Gila?! Weird. Its pretty funny to listen to the things he says and words he makes up now. He knows as well as I do that they dont make sense and is just being goofy. Wyatt loves crawling into Jacksons bed now, and most of the time jack likes it but some of the time it is a war. Wyatt is not very happy when its time to go back to his crib. I cant figure out if its Wyatt being a butt, or he just wants to be with his brother or if he wants to be in a big boy bed (which I am defintely not ready for!) I think one of my favorite things is when the boys fall asleep just anywhere. I think its so cute, and of course is one of my favorite things just because they are ASLEEP! I was downstairs cleaning the other day and went upstairs to go put them down for naps. Well i get upstairs and both boys are passed out in diapers/pull ups sound asleep sitting up on the couch. Haha guess i was a little late in the nap department. It was so cute....

Here is a few of the boys just being boys.... Wrestling with dad is a favorite in our house. If dad could handle it they would do it all night. Its funny now too cuz Wyatt will finally wrestle now (not to mention hit, kick, SPIT, tackle and body slam) so its finally 2 against 1! And you actually hear some "OW!!'s" outta dad now! I love it.... Well tomorrow is Thanksgiving and in case I dont talk to any of you Happy Turkey Day! Hope its filled with all the good stuff and your nice and full and fat like me by the end of the day! Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Leave Us....

... a comment! Youre making Wy wy sad! All my friends on here have like 8 comments, 17 comments, 21 comments. Howcome we only have the same four people comment all the time? I am constantly told how many people read this blog on a day to day basis yet only my four blogger friends leave us with their love... (thanks ash, rach, val and lauren!) I think one of my favorite parts of this blog is knowing that everyone loves reading it and seeing the boys and trying to keep up with this crazy Brady world, then I get on and have no comments and I feel like no one reads it.... C'mon now peeps, LEAVE YOUR BOYS SOME LOVE!!!!!!!

PS It would be even more fun if some of you signed up for blogger and I got to keep up with your crazy life too................... wink wink! ;0)

Jack's Preschool Feast

Today Jack had his Thanksgiving feast at school. I was signed up to take pictures (right up my alley) so I got to watch it all and then see Jack play afterwards which I dont ever get to do. His class wore little headbands and made pasta necklaces to wear, it was so cute. They walked out in a line and he lit up as soon as he saw me outside by their table. He wasnt expecting to see mom. They had turkey, potatoes, cornbread, fruit and of course pumpkin pie. He asked for two helpings of pie (imagine that!) and was not very happy when i told him one was enough. It was really fun to watch them all. After the feast I grabbed his two little buddies so me and their moms could take pictures of them. Katelyn (his girlfriend) and his buddy Landon we call the three amigos. They are so cute together. Both boys call Katelyn their girlfriend which is hilarious (it would be even funnier if they fought about it but i wont tell them that!). We all went to lunch last week after school one day and let the kids play, Jack loved it and it was cool to see him hang out with other kids than just the ones he has grown up with. Its neat to watch these different relationships grow, since he has made them himself instead of just being in his comfort zone with all our friends kids.
Jackson, Katelyn and Landon..... (you cant see it but Jack has his arms around them. SOOOO cute!)
Jackson and his other little buddy Luke, who he thinks is so cool because he has the same name as his Daddy!Jack and Landon being goofy!

Christmas is Coming!

Yayyyyyyyyy! Im excited for christmas this year. Usually IM dreading it.... the shopping, the business, the mad moms in mini vans, crowded everything! But Im really excitde this year. Luke and I decided we are going to go on saturday and get everything done! I mean everything. I cant wait. I wont be stressing this whole next two months and procrastinating on my shopping. Im even going to get xmas cards done this weekend and ordered so I can slowly address them all and have them out the beginning of December. So dont be surprised if ours is the first one you get. Im on top of things right now! These are some of the pictures we took for xmas cards, however Im having a hard time deciding which to do.

I had no clue what so ever as to what to get for the kids this year. They have everything. Luke and I decided we wanted to get Jackson a new bike, like one with training wheels. And we wanted to get the boys a power wheels that they can both ride in together, other than that we were stumped. So I took the boys to toys r us and let them scope out some things they liked. Wyatt found a cabbage patch doll that he LOVED. At least I found one that was a boy!! Jack is gettin a lot more difficult, becuase he is into certain things now. He managed to find a soccer net he liked, and a black hawk helicopter with army guys. But other than that I have no idea what to do, but with as fast as this kid is shooting up, clothes I think is what he will be gettin from mom and dad. BTW, for you moms with little boys... Chicks and Tillys has had some really cute clothes lately.

On saturday I took the boys to get their pictures taken. What a day! It took forever! The boys were so tired by the end of the day, and hungry! Which turned into cranky chaos! But they turned out cute. Wyatt didnt cooperate as much as I would have liked but we still managed. Afterwards my mom and I took them to the disney store and she bought them Ratotouille and some little guys from the movie (for being such good boys!). It was a very long day, to say the least. Here is a sneak peek but thats all you get for now...

Just Me and My Boys!

So I thought it had been awhile since I updated you all on Jacksons preschool days.... quite the show lemme tell ya. Let me start by saying I never imagined how much stuff a preschooler could take home. I have stacks and stacks of art work and hes only been in school less than two months. Its crazy. He now has a girlfriend who he is OBSESSED with. Its really the only kid in his class i can get him to talk about. She is cute, her name is Kaitlyn, she has "yellow hair like mommy". And he LOVES her! He even admits he has a girlfriend. Its so cute when he says, "Ya her names Kaitlyn!" Love it! They recently had their fall festival which Jackson has me convinced he won EVERY game there. They have picture day next week, cant wait to get him all cute. And on the 20th I willl be in his class helping with their Thanksgiving feast. He has to dress as a pilgrim or Indian. Haha. This week was teddy bear week and they all brought their fave teddy to school. Jack brought his dirtbike one and he won the award for Sportiest Bear! He was so proud! So all and all he is loving preschool and has made lots of new friends, and girlfriends!! Eeek, should i be worried??!! Other than that, he has been quite the troublemaker. He loves to irritate his brother. Loves giving attitude now. Rides his razor like a crazy man up and down the steet. Dances like no one is watching but when he realizes you are he gets pretty embarrased and tells you to stop laughing. Loves the movie Surfs Up right now and knows every song on the Wiggles. His new favorite thing is crawling into bed with mommy after daddy has left for work and wacthes TV. Its like his special time with me or something, its so cute. He is becoming quite my little man.

Next I had to tell you what a holy terror Wyatt has been. SOOO CLINGY! He will literally hang on my legs as I walk and yell from the third floor "MAMAMAMAMA!!" He gets crazy jealous when Jackson is sitting with me or im holding him or anything. He will literally push Jack away to get to me and sit smack on top of me so his brother cant get anywhere near me. Like Im only his mommy. He is such the mamas boy it isnt even funny. I do love it but at the same time I am going crazy. And in the new house he can open ALL the doors, including the front and garage doors. I lock EVERYTHING now. So irritating. BUt he is still so cute. His new thing is giving hugs. He just wraps those little arms as far around you as they go. And his kisses couldnt get any cuter. And he still says cheese every time you bring a camera out. Its so funny though becuase whenever he says cheese one eye gets smaller than the other and his mouth goes sideways (you probably notice in every picture that my child usually looks semi-retarded). He is such a cheeseball. He has mastered the Lil Quad he has, and even goes up the little round about at the end of our culdesac, and back down again. He pops wheelys everytime he goes up, freaks me out! He is so into anything that growls, mostly dinosaurs and sharks (he seems to think sharks and snakes growl) and will stop dead in his tracks as soon as he hears the Wiggles come on (i swore up and down Id never let my kids watch that show but for some reason its the only they will both watch and be completely mezmerized!) Loves to hit, punch and tackle and when they are in the stoller he will beat on his brothers head the whole time. I finally had to start putting him in the front cuz he is such a butt.... trying to get it under control but the kid insists on being a bully every chance he gets. Gotta love my little bulldog!

The Random Ones...

Just a few more random ones for all of you who were going through withdrawls (maybe that was only me, i feel naked without my computer!).... Grandma and Grandpa brought the boys new Eagles sweatshirts so we sported those for sundays game against Dallas when we went to my brothers house(they are the Cowboys fans who try to brainwash my kids!). We walked in and their family room had blue and silver balloons everywhere. I was cracking up... I think it was the first year they knew they were bound for victory so they rubbed it in. They have never been able to do that before. O well, next time!!I love this picture of Wyatt and Bailey.... he was lovin on her that day, and poking her eyeballs out! And just the boys in their new playroom, glad they enjoyed the boxes!!

Oh I feel so much better you have no idea. I missed this :)

I Was NOT Thinking!

Obviously my head just wasnt in the right spot. I finally realized that I can copy my pictures to a disc and use a working internet to download them... DUH! So my computer still isnt up and running, we are having internet problems, so its taken me awhile. So here are the latest pictures for ya.... Ill start with Justins wedding a few weekends ago. Just a few, I wasnt there long enough to take very many but it was gorgeous!Their little boy Gavin, I love him. Me and Justins sister Jessica.... Ok, next is the Halloween party. I dont want to bore you with all the pictures so here is just an idea.... This is Luke, Jeff and Dustin in their Beaver Fever costumes. AHAHAHA And for some reason this picture of me, Gabe and Andy just cracks me up.And now I guess would be the Pumpkin Patch with Grandma and Grandpa and Uncle Ethan and Aunt Lari. The kids had alot of fun. Here is Jack with his aunt and uncle.

Grandma and Grandpa had a lot of fun too! Luke and Ethan played little brother-big brother for awhile, Ethan failed miserably to his not-so-little brother! And Aunt Lari helped Wy play with every pumpkin there! He loves Aunt Lari... Then it was home we went, lollipops in hand... They were up FOREVER that night!
So now the moment you have all been waiting for- HALLOWEEN! This year was alot of fun. We carved pumpkins, well we carved one. Luke brought home two pumpkins to carve and one was rotten inside so there was no way I was even about to put my hand in that thing. Instead I colored his face with a Sharpee. But Jack and I carved one, while Wyatt fell asleep at the kitchen table eating lunch. He slept right up until the time we finished the thing. It was hilarious. Poor kid must have been exhausted. But Jack loved putting his hand in there and finding seeds but he wasn't too fond of the "gunk" (my dainty little boy).
So when night time rolled along the kids were PUMPED to go trick or treating. However we had to put it on hold for a few. I realized that we had used Jacksons trick or treat bucket for a fish tank when we moved. We only had one bucket! Luke ran all over the place at 6pm looking for a bucket. AFter three places he went to a party store and the only one they had left was a Dora Backpack one, PURPLE! Poor Jack! So Finally off we went.... with.............. (drum roll please....)
ONE LITTLE CHICKEN!!! And the best damn lookin JACK(son) SPARROW you ever saw!! (Johnny Depp has nothin on this kid!) O my gosh they were so cute, maybe Im biased but they were CUTE! Jack only wanted to be Jack Sparrow this year so he was so excited to dress up and lemme draw him a goatee. We figured we would only do our street, a good 16 houses or so, but noooo Jack kept going so we did the whole next street! He loved it. It was so much fun this year becuase he actually knew what was going on. He would run to the door, say trick or treat, a big thank you and off to the next! Wyatt did really good too, held his bucket, walked to the door, got a piece of candy then followed his brother. However after the third house or so he got a sucker so he dropped his bucket, opened the sucker and walked slowly down the street. That was all the candy he wanted. It was funny. Wyatts new thing is when he sees a dog he hangs his tongue out of his mouth and pants like one... so we saw a little dog dressed as a lobster and Wy followed it panting for about 5 minutes. He is so weird. We got home and Jack was absolutely wired! Wouldnt stop talking all night. One and only thing I dont like about Halloween. But all and all we had a great time! So fun to see them so excited and into it this year. This past Friday Caleys niece's came over and we took the kids to Chuck E Cheese and did movie night. They got along so well. Kyleigh is 6 and Jack adored her. I think she loved him just as much though, they had so much fun. He calls her his new Kyleigh haha. Maddy is 2, almost three, soo cute and cuddly. She kept just crawling into my lap. I loved it. And little Kate is about a month older than Wy. So cute, talks up a storm! And i thought Wyatt was a wiz at talking. They were all so cute together and had a great time! Soooooooooo anyways, thanks for being so patient... I actually have a few more randoms I will post on another post cuz its taking way too long on this one now. Dunno why I didnt think of this brilliant idea sooner. Soooo not thinking there!
