Block Partayyyy!!!

Saturday night, after a long day of swimming for the kids with Aunt Ashley and Luke and I driving to Escondido for some hotel tour thing (we had to tour this timeshare to get two free wine tasting trips and a paid trip to Vegas...not a bad deal!)we ended the day with our neighborhood block party. Good food-smoked tri tip and BBQ chicken and tons of other food I couldnt stop eating. Great drinks- we brought out the blender and everyone drank pitcher after pitcher of margaritas. Fun for the kids- one neighbor has a bounce house they blew up and the boys (who out number girls and parents by ALOT) raced up and down the street and played basketball. Jack has so many little buddies on this street, he loves it. We just got some new neighbors too (the husband Luke just happens to know cuz they had classes together in college, RANDOM) but they have two boys. Gavin is 5 and Evan is Wyatts age so they have yet some more boys to play with at the end of the culdesac. Towards the end my neighbor Toni talked me into leaving the kids out there with Luke and sneaking into the neighbors backyard for some spa time... so we did. Drinks in hand we left the dads with all the kids and we had some girl time in the spa. It was nice. Not to mention by the time we all got out I think its safe to say we were all a little tipsy! The kids were pooped and by 10pm I was ready for bed. However Luke, Gary and J were wanting to play Trivial Pursuit (my worst enemy in the way of games) and somehow talked me into it. After about three rounds and NOBODY gettng an answer right I layed down on the floor and passed out. My neighbors are bad influences :)
The crazy boys falling outta the bounce house!

Jack and Blake throwin up a PEACE sign!CRAZY Johnny Walker Blue Label Crew... (it was sooo nasty I almost barfed just smelling it! Thanks Jeff!)Me and my little love bug!Jackson, Gavin, Blake and Brenden at the starting line!!

Wyatts Last Lesson!

Yesterday Wyatt had his last swim lesson with Jen. He has been doing so good and even when we got there he was doing all his little things in the baby pool. Kicking, blowing bubbles, putting his face in. THEN all hell broke loose. As soon as Jen said "Ok Wy are you ready to swim with me?" he started freaking out, crying, throwing a fit. He cried the WHOLE TIME he was in the pool with her. He would hardly do anything for her. Of course the one lesson (other than the first) that he cried the whole time, I brought my video camera. Cant wait for him to look back and realize what a punk he was. SOOOO stubborn.
Freezing JackRadyn, Jack and Boston Hated floating on his back every lesson Stubborn boy After swim lessons we met Marc and the kids at the beach. For once my kids didnt want to gin the water the whole time and it was probably the nicest beach trip I have taken in awhile. I could sit and relax instead of chasing them through waves. I was in heaven. Not to mention I was highly entertained by what I called "flock of Seagulls"..... holy cow it was fun! The kids were eating crackers when we noticed the seagulls coming towards us and I threw a cracker to one and all the sudden 20 seagulls are soaring overhead to our feet. I screamed. I hate birds. They are gross, and dirty, and are like vultures on that beach. Ughhh. BUTTTT, I decided to have some fun with it. The boys started chasing the birds around in circles which was extremely amusing but not quite satisfying enough. Finally (video camera in hand) I made the boys stand about 8 feet away from me. I crushed up a bunch of crackers and on the count of three threw them at the boys feet. This is where Flock of Seagulls comes in. As I threw the crackers 25 seagulls flocked to the boys feet like they hadnt eaten in days. The boys, probably a little terrified thanks to their evil mom, start chasing them though and all these birds scatter across the beach. Im dying laughing. While trying to snap pictures, video tape and throw more crackers, I am also screaming because of my hatred of birds and the fact they are flying right next to my face. I would have loved to be one of those people sitting on the beach watching these crazy antics because I am sure they were WAYYY more amused than I was. I probably looked crazy but O my gosh it was hilarious. I tried getting some good pictures but it was tough. Needless to say, it was a fun beach trip.
Wyatt thought it was funny that brother pees his pants when he has boardshorts on so he looked at me and said "Mommy, I go pee pee." Then looked down and started to pee. Flock of Seagulls

Still Crowded....

... but worth it! Luke and i took the boys to Disneyland last night since our passes finally work again. We have the passes that basically block out the whole summer which is ok by us because for one, its too hot to go. I would rather be at the pool or beach or somewhere with a body of water... Two, its too crowded. Luke and I HATE lines. When we have family dinner at my parents Luke is always last to get his food cuz he doesnt wanna wait in line to dish up. Perfect example of his hatred for lines. So as of last week our passes were good again. I figured this week would be good because alot of kids are going back to school already or at least getting ready to so it wouldnt be too crowded. We got there about 6pm and it was still pretty crowded. Only about a half hour per wait but that is crowded for a weekday night. Next week should be much better. Having Luke there this time allowed Jack to go on some of the big rides he has never been on. He was so excited. First stop- Space Mountain. Wy and I decided to head to Nemo but the line was still super long so we ran around while we waited for Luke and Jack to ride. Jackson loved it. We were able to hit up 5 rides which wasnt bad considering how crowded it still was. Wyatt took his first ride on Dumbo AKA the "efant ride". I took Jack on the Star Wars ride which he claims was his favorite. He is obsessed now. I cant stand Star Wars but hey, he loves it. The kids have Disney dollars from their bdays so when we got off the ride Jack got to pick out a Star Wars toy. Of course he got the SET of guys, which are actually bath toys so he wants to take them to the pool today. Last we went on the new Nemo ride, where Luke and I were pretty impressed on how cool it was. The boys FLIPPED OUT! They LOVED it!!! As soon as they saw all the guys they started yelling out their names and a whole bunch of "WHOA"s and "WOW"s and "LOOK!"s.... They went from almost asleep (its 10pm by this time) to all wound up and excited like they had just eaten a million lollipops. Luke and I just kept looking at each other and laughing at how cute they were being. After Nemo we headed out with Wy on my shoulders and him rambling on and on about Nemo and Bruce and Dori. Jack, however, who hadnt taken a nap that day, crashed in the stroller before we were out the gate. We had a fun time, best part is, we didnt spend a dime... Im excited we can use our passes again too!

More Fun

So I started editing all my fun pictures with this new program (Thanks Ash) and here are some fun ones I did of my cute nephew. Parker the ham! So fun....

Picture Perfect Boys

So here is my to be continued on the last post. We went to bed about 130am. Spent the night at my parents so we were in the same room as the boys. Well at 230 Jackson woke up cuz he had peed his pants. WONDERFUL! PS. At this point Im still a little buzzed! I get him back to bed and aboutan hour and a half later Wyatt wakes up wanting milk. So I get him some, put him back to bed and he just wasnt having it. So finally I crawled onto the floor with him to get him back to sleep. We fall asleep on the floor and about 630 or so Parker woke up and the boys heard him right away and woke up too. Oh ya, I forgot to mention Ryan and Jenny had spent the night too with Parker, they were in the other bedroom. Needless to say, the boys didnt go back to sleep. Luke slept the whole time. Terd. So i was up at 630am. I was soo tired. Jenny and i got Luke and Ryan out of bed around 830 or so and we all went to Rubys for breakfast. After our delicious french toast we changed the boys clothes and went around town in San Juan and took the boys pictures. They turned out awesome!! After an hour and a half of walking around snapping shots the kids were just done. So we went back to my parents and relaxed before everyone else got there for my dads bday. It was nice to lay around and do nothing for awhile. At one point I even got to take a nap (after Luke got his nap though of course). After the fam all got there we headed to the bluff for appetizers and then back to their house for a BBQ and Joker. It was fun, but I was beat. We all had left that night by 930pm. I went home and crashed, HARD!!! But here are the pics of my picture perfect boys... this is only some of them cuz they didnt all make it onto the disc Ryan made me (there were 326 pictures!). Ill post the rest when I get them. I still have some playing around and editing to do with them, as you can imagine its tough to get three little boys all looking at the camera and smiling at the same time. I have been doing alot of cropping to at least make sure I get some of the cute smiles and eliminate the ones who didnt want to smile..... Enjoy!
Some of my favorite ones of the boys and their cousin!
