Moley-Moley-MOLEY!!

So I just noticed on Jackson's chest, right around his collar bone, he has a little mole. LOL Its so cute and tiny. He will probably kill me later for posting this but I had to share my childs cuteness. I am on a hunt for more little "beauty" marks now on my children. Haha... Wyatt has his birthmark on his belly, its little and light so its pretty cute. And he has a freckle on the bottom of his foot, which is bizarre but I love it. Stay tuned for more bodily finds... hahahah I am SOO evil!

In other news, not much has been going on you havent already heard about. Jack and Wyatt have been banned from watching Power Rangers, Ninja Turtles and Transformers due to lack of control. For one, they were obsessed. Like an unhealthy, all we wanna watch, play with and talk about, mom cant stand it anymore, obsessed. Two, they were fighting way too much. At first it was cute. Then it was out of control and I was so tired of watching, listening to and hearing about the aftermath of fighting that I finally drew the line. I warned both of them one morning a few weeks ago that if it happened again they would get a warning. The next time, all of their power ranger watching rights would be banned FOREVER! And Ninja Turtles and Transformers would be put on hiatus. Let me just tell you it scared the crap outta Jack. However two days later, I pulled the plug. It was a HUGE relief on my part cuz I have never been so sick of shows and movies in my life. And there is NOTHING worst than Power Rangers, NOTHING!!! Needless to say, the fighting in this house has lessened, BIG TIME! I dont mind them wrestling, they are boys, thats what they do... but the Ninja style fighting is not allowed ever again.... we'll see how that goes!

My Hero.... :)

When Luke got home Sunday night from his long weekend of meetings and entertaining out of towners for work, he woke me up to give me roses and presents, much of which I dont remember at all. However I do remember him showing me his awards he brought home. He was so cute about it and proud, even though he was exhausted he was like a kid on a sugar high when he got home cuz he was so excited to show me! He has worked so hard this last year at Scorpion and for him to get some recognition like this was very rewarding. He deserved it. However, where these huge ass, HEAVY, glass trophys are going to go is totally beyond me. One he recieved was for top sales in apparell for an inside rep. The other one, the HUGE one was for top overall sales in the company. This one must weigh 30 lbs. Anyways, I was so proud of him and so glad he got the recognition he deserves!!

My Birfday.....

So Sunday was my birfday... it was kinda strange that Luke wasnt around and I was home with the kids and what not. But I have some awesome friends... Gianna and Lindsay went outta their way to throw me a small party down in Laguna Beach. They brought Subway and cupcakes and invited our closest friends and she even brought me a pitcher of margaritas, which after my weekend of flying solo tasted mighty good lemme tell ya! It was nice to just relax and sit on the beach with friends. The other kids were there so the boys were entertained too. The guys played volleyball which was pretty entertaining I must say. Some of the girls got me a gift certificate to Burke Williams which I cannot WAIT to use.... I am so excited to go have a spa day you have no idea. Anyways, funny sidenote... so all the kids were catching sandcrabs and putting them in this bucket down by the water. They were hunched over the bucket playing with them and adding more and letting some go, etc etc for quite awhile. Finally I see about ten Asian people in their clothes, with cameras around their necks approach the kids and then the madness started. OMG! It was CRAZY! These foreigners thought our kids were the greatest thing since pumpkin pie!!! Either that or they truly thought sandcrabs were straight from another planet! Their cameras were going crazy, they were making the kids pose for them, they would pose with the kids with their two finger peace signs (my personal favorite), they circled around them for a good half hour snapping pictures. All of us were sitting probably 20 yards away on the beach just cracking up. It was hysterical! I guess little white kids is one thing foreigners love about the US huh?!?! One lady in a striped shirt was IN LOVE with Wyatt, she kept talking to him and playing with the sandcrabs with him and taking his picture! For a minute there I almost thought I should go grab them before these crazy foreigners took off with all our little white babies! Seriously may have been worth the good laugh we got for a half hour though... lol JUST KIDDING!!! Anyways.... when the day was just about over I packed up my extremely exhausted boys and all their crap and headed through crazy Laguna to go find my car. Honestly, I forgot how much I despise the streeets of Laguna Beach. Its nuts down there. Wyatt was asleep in the stroller before we even got to the stop light. They were DUNZO (Laguna Beach language incase you didnt notice... for all those who used to watch Stephen and LC hahahahah)... We then cruised down PCH to my parents house where my mom cooked me some meatloaf, yummmmm, and Brandi and Marc and Ash joined us. Finally by about 845 I could hardly stay awake... so home we went and suprisingly enought the kids stayed awake ALLLL the way home watching Robots in their car seats. Should have made one of them drive.... I passed out after a hot shower probably by about 10pm. Luke finally got home about 1130pm and woke me up, however I wasnt totally awake! I only halfway remember him waking me up and putting a dozen roses on my head and trying to make me open cards and presents lol..... I felt bad the next morning but I think he knew I was just dead tired and couldnt get out of the funk. It was a fun day, and although we were missing Luke, it reminded me of how great of friends I have!
My dozen roses that were put on my head while I slept!
Jack, Wyatt and Dylan playing with sand crabs (the same shot im sure the Asian people have 100 of)The guys attempting volleyball. Jeff is in the left part of the picture, good and ready for Marc to hit it to him LOL and Jake is standing here ever so calmly lol It was so funny. Kylee and McKenna and some of the herd standing behind them. You probably wonder what they are all looking at in the other direction?!?! Thats where the boys are playing with sandcrabs lol They are staring at the boys hahahahha Oh man... this just wont get old to me! O and thats the striped shirt lady OBSESSED with Wyatt!Me and some of the girls, about to blow out my imaginary candles... Hillary, baby Miles, Brandi, Ambra, me, Gianna, Lindsay and Kristyn. I love how 4 of them are all brand new moms and are hiding their stomachs lol

US Open

Soooo Luke was gone, again, this weekend. He had his national sales meeting all weekend, and although it was here in town he was stuck in a hotel so we didnt see him fri-sun. So the boys and I did our thing.... Saturday morning, after zero sleep all night, we got up at 7am and headed to my brothers. Marc and I took the kids to the US Open in Huntington Beach to watch the surfers and all the other cool stuff they have down there. It was sweet. We got there around 9am which was perfect cuz there wasnt a huge crowd, if you have ever been there you know that place is INSANE during this event. All the kids went from booth to booth collecting their free stuff like beggars on the street. I came home with so much chapstick, coozies, posters, stickers, whistles, shirts and CRAP you wouldnt believe it. Marc and I were dying of heat exhaustion but the kids kept powering through. We watched skateboarding for awhile and of course couldnt leave until Jack could watch the freestyle motocross. By noon we were SOOO done. It had just started getting crowded so walking through there with two hot, tired kids became quite a to nuisance to me. We gathered the troops and hiked back to the car. We finally got home and Marc and i cracked open a beer with Brandi and just sat for a few hours.... I felt so much better.

Last New Baby For Awhile!

Ok... last one for a little while! This morning at 947am Jon and Jill Eide welcome baby Sophia! Jon is Lukes boss, and also now really close friend. They live down the street from us in Ladera too so we get to see them alll the time. They have become some really great friends in the last year or so. And Im really glad because hopefully they call me FIRST to babysit! I seriously wanted to take this little one home with me. Putting my kids aside (because I am their mom and Im biased) little Sophia has to be THE cutest baby I have ever seen. Nothing, not one single flaw about this child. She was absolutely GORGEOUS and perfect! And soooo tiny! She weighed in at 6lbs 3oz and just 17 1/2 inches long..... We went and saw them tonight after dinner and they are all doing so well, the perfect little princess doesnt make a peep. The boys kept wanting to touch her and rub her blankie, til Jills mom distracted them with candy :) She is just so stinkin cute... I already told Jon to plan a night to go out so I can have her! I cant wait... I soooo want to steal her!!

WELCOME TO THE WORLD BABY SOPHIA!!!

My Little Fishies!!

So we have been swamped with swim lessons so far... Usually 4 days a week. Jack has always been a HUGE wimp in the water. Wyatt not so much, until July 5th (his bday) when he almost drowned in Jakes pool. That day changed his mind about water... and changed my mind about getting him swim lessons. So Jack is going to Aunt Lari and Wyatt is going to our friend Jen. Jack has had HUGE improvements and is now swimming awesome! And LOVEs the water and going under and diving for sticks and doing cannonballs and doesnt need to wear his floaties! Its great. Wyatt is making HUGE progress too since a few weeks ago. He is finally to the point that I can let go of him in the water when he is wearing his floaties and he doesnt freak out. And he will jump in the pool again. Thank goodness for Jen and Lari! Heres a few pics from Jacks lesson the other day...

Circus!!

Yesterday I took the boys to the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus... same circus I went to when i was little! My friend Shannon works for the Anameim Ducks so when stuff like this rolls around at the arena she gets me free tickets in one of the suites... its awesome. We went last year, Luke and I took Jack and Mason and left Wyatt with Dustin and Ambra. Well this year I wanted Wy to go, but it was smack in the middle of the day so Luke couldnt go with us. I called Ambra and invited her and Mase to go with us. So we took the boys (and Brandon cuz I watched him all week!). Wyatt was SCARED TO DEATH!!! He wouldnt leave my lap until the last thirty minutes of the show... which made it a nightmare for the first two hours because I had to hold 11 month old Brandon too. Thank goodness for Ambra. I would have died by myself. The kids had hot dogs, piled on the sugar with some cotton candy that came with sweet clown hats HA! My personal favorite everytime is the elephants. And these ones must have just eaten because they were all poopin fools. Shannon came and watched with us for a little bit so the three of us girls were DYING laughing watching the guys try to catch all the dung in shovels before it hit the floor. Then they all scurry around picking it up before it either gets everywhere or one of these massive creatures tramples over them. Holy cow it was hilarious. And the elephants kept going, it was like a chain reaction. We were crying we were laughing so hard. There was one cute little baby guy who everytime he got in line to run he would kick a back foot in the air the whole time he walked. It was soooo cute! I wanted to go play with him. LOL Anyways, the circus was fun, even though I wanted to pull my hair out. I came home and told Luke I wanted to get drunk. I was sooo DONE with kids that day. Thanks Shannon for the fun time... the boys love their Auntie Shannon!!
Shannon and cotton candy mouth Wy
How cute are these two??? Intermission i finally got Wy to eat his dog... Little cheeseballs... Best hats Here is a glimpse into dung-catching..... it really should be an event... Hilarious! They are so cute....

Concert at the Park!

Sunday, even though I was EXHAUSTED and a bit hungover, the kids and I went to lunch then to the park and THEN I met up with Brandi and Marc and we took the kids to the concert in the park in RSM. It was a little Irish Rock band called the Fenians. Marc and Brandi had seen them before at some pub in Huntington and I remember seeing them once or twice in Newport years ago. They are really good and fun.... we set up chairs and blankets, picked up dinner and just hung out and listened for a few hours before heading back to their house for some Joker, where Brandi and I dominated, again, twice! HA! Kids and I were done by 10pm and headed home for a goodnight sleep.

Amy's Bachelorette!!

Ok Im finally going to try to catch up on our busy weekend/week! Friday morning kelyy came and watched the kids and I took off for Palm Springs for Amy's bachelorette party. Luke had left for Monterey at 430am that morning for work (rode his motorcycle 7 hours, ewwwwww). All us girls met in Palm Springs around noon at the JW Marriot. It was hot and beautiful and we spent ALL day at the pool, relaxing and drinking and playing hilarious games.... it was so fun and extremely nice to be away from the kids and with all the girls. We finally went back up to the suite around six and slowly but surely we all got ready to go to dinner. Drinks in hand and music blaring and all the new mommys pumping milk like crazy... i seriously felt like I was in a cow barn. It was crazy. I was even woken up by it the next morning at 8am... Lindsay was sitting above my head and all I heard was the sounds of pumping milk... o and her say before I opened my eyes and looked at her "Amys going to kill me!" LOL.... Anyways, we headed downstairs to Mikado, a teppan place in the hotel. We all had crazy drinks and shrimp being chucked at our faces by our cook... thats why I love teppan places. Then we were off to the lounge inside the hotel where we all laughed hysterically til they kicked us out at midnight. We found the funniest people down there... So we headed over to Costas, a nightclub at the hotel. Let me just tell you it was the most hilarious place ever. The people there killed me.... but we still managed to have a good time. I finally went to sleep about 330am, after Lindsay and I had to put our pull out couch mattress on the floor to be comfortable. It was a struggle lemme tell you! Then I was up at 8am and we were at the pool by 930... drink and a tuna sandwich in hand by 10am. We hung out there til about 130pm then some of us girls had to take off... the guys had their 10 year reunion that night. Even though Luke wasnt going to be home I had told John I would help set up since I was coming anyways and wasnt really a 98 alumni. So got home, got ready and went to Johns to set up. Then partied til 2am when Nicola finally took me home (thanks nic, I owe ya!). How I was functioning at 230 is beyond me! I slept in til 1030am then went to parents to pick up the kids. I dont think I had slept that late since 2004 before Jack was born! It was sooo nice!
Me and Lauren.... a few drinks in!
Gianna, me, lala and lins Shots for the bride... im telling you we found some interesting people. This guy was going to strip for us for forty bucks hahah Another intersting person... he kept trying to dance with everyone!! Foreign exchange student.... he was in LOVE with Lauren cuz she danced with him lol Jiminy Cricket... lauren and I are evil!!! Nobody else would attempt the George Washington do.... Me and GCal, me, lala, Hillary, Ambra, Lins, Shannon and Amy
