Lukes Birthday Partaaay!

So this year for Lukes bday he decided he didnt want to do a huge angels game like the years before (honestly I was a little bit happy about this cuz I dont have time to plan something like that right now!). All he wanted to do was go play golf with the boys then go play at a park or something for awhile... when he said that I looked at him and said "A park? Seriously?!? Are you five?" Then he mentioned bocce ball, horseshoes and booze and I totally understood what he meant :) He didnt want people to have to spend money or find sitters, he wanted simple. So Gary put together a group of 16 guys to play golf saturday morning at Shorecliffs and me and the boys spent the morning making cupcakes, getting balloons and then walked down to the park to get a table. I was going super simple, just snacks and cupcakes basically. John called me that morning and said he wanted to get food to BBQ so he ended up grabbing hot dogs and made food for everyone. The boys all met us at the park around 3pm and for the next couple hours we just hung out and played. Wyatt being the terd that he is... decided to crap his pants twice while we were down there. Ughh just when I thought we were done with that nonsense. Sooo gross. However he doesnt fully crap, he just gets a turtle head, pinches it off just enough to be in his butt/pants and be stinky and uncomfortable. I mean seriously, isnt it easier to just tell me you have to go so i can bring you to a toilet. Its sooo frustrating. Sorry for the graphic description of my childs fecal matter. Im done now, just had to vent! Anyways.... You would think by 7pm most of those guys would be passed out right?!? WRONG!!! Instead they headed out again. They continued the party and headed to Cooks Corner, then to the cigar lounge and Captain Creams. Thennn a late night snack at Corkys 24 hour diner down the street. I dont even know how Luke survived. Or how he functioned the next day. Buttttt he did. Enough to be stuck with the boys all day while I went to a bridal shower. HA sucker!!! Anyways, he had a great bday day!! But you know his bday was stretched out for over a week.... Always :)

Memorial Weekend

Memorial weekend was busy for us... I had pictures to take, a grad party to attend, bbq's galore. Sunday Jake and Kristyn had a bbq over at their house. Luke and Gary went with my dad to play golf in the morning so the boys and I picked up Gianna and headed over there. The boys met us there and everyone ate, swam, ate some more, drank, watched the Angel game. The boys were weird in the water, they would go in but neither of them wanted to swim. Which was making me a little nervous since Wyatt started swim lessons in a few days. We finally packed up about 830, went home, brought Kylee with us and all three kids passed out by 930pm. Love what swimming does to kids.. best invention ever.

Monday after cleaning the house all morning we took the boys and Kylee too the pool with some Subway sandwiches and let them swim for four hours. And lemme tell you, after the day before of being pool wimps these kids were CRAZY and swam all day. Jack was a swimming maniac. Im talking swimming almost across the pool. We were throwing him HIGH in the air and hed swim back. He was doing perfect cannonballs off the walls. He was awesome. And Wy, who hates going under or getting his ears wet was also going under, doing cannonballs, letting us throw him. It was insane. I was so stoked. Marc and Brandi and Hunter were playing golf so they met us there later and afterwards Luke made us all dinner, for Marc and Brandi's anniversary :) And those kids who swam for four hours crashed by 8pm.

Wasted Away Again....

... in Margaritaville!! Thats right, Jimmy Buffett was back in Irvine this year and we couldnt have been happier about this!! Thursday was the only day he played here, which would make you think the parking lot party would be small, under control, kinda not the same, WRONG!!! It was so fun. Ash came and watched the boys for me and we got to the parking lot about 3pm, when it opened. Us girls went off, leaving the boys by themselves and we managed to get quite a bot of free food and booze! Along with a beer pong win or two under our belt!! We partied in the parking lot til about 8pm then finally went in to the concert, it was packed!!! However, somehow we found some of our group on the grass before it was over!! The night ended with a lime fight between Gary and Luke in the car, then the drive away game. LOL long story but us girls got Luke and Gary good!We had so much fun at Jimmy... I love that man!
