A Good Weekend....

Well its Sunday... and the weekend is over BOOOO!!!! But it was a nice one. Friday night we did nothing so it was really nice. However, Jackson did entertain us to some extent... he wanted something and Luke told him no so he started fake crying and Luke said "Do you wanna go to your room?" and still whining Jackson says "NO...." and Luke answered "Ok then stop acting like that..." and with his fake cry and his hands in the air he says "I just wanna cry for a minute dad!" We were rolling.... So of course he started laughing, but knew he was funny so kept trying to fake cry.

Saturday we got up and went to the Fitch's for a BBQ and swimming. Jenny and Shawn were in town with the new baby Shane too so we got to see him (I hogged him most the time!). And Jackson got to play with Taylor. All the other kids were there too, McKenna, Radyn and Boston, Dylan and Mason. Wish I would have brought my camera with me... But they had a good time, despite him being really tired and getting a fever last night out of nowhere. When we got home they both had naps (short ones might I add) and when they got up Jack seemed fine, just groggy. We put some clothes on them and headed down the street to Jeff and Lindsays for dinner and the Angel game. The kids were awesome, played the whole time, ate dinner. Then I put Wyatt down in their bedroom and we sat down to play Scene It (we are into games lately.... ps My team won!). Jack watched Finding Nemo in the other room and walked out at one point and had a fever. So weird. When he woke up this morning though he was fine again. So i dunno. Hoping he doesnt get sick.

Today was reallllly weird. It rained, and thundered and lightning-ed ALL day, but its still in the upper 80's. So gross. Luke kept saying he felt like he was on the east coast (for all you out there :) We had breakfast and hung out for awhile... Which leads me to another funny story for you.... Wyatt was laying on the floor and Jack sits down with him and starts playing, tickling him and playing with his feet, then he looks at his toe and says "O Wy your nail..." and starts biting his toenails off HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA so gross! But so funny, Luke and I could not stop laughing!!! Anywho .... We were going to take the kids to the beach club but instead we went and looked at motorcycles. Jackson DID NOT want to leave. Then Luke thought it would be fun to take the kids through a drive thru car wash hahaha (what we do for amusement huh)! Wyatt I think shit his pants, Jackson thought it was awesome haha! We went and got Wyatt a new stroller cuz my dad ran over the last one! And even better we went to Sport Chalet and luke found a mister for the backyard, 10 bucks! Soooo excited to use it! Hopefully for ten bucks it works!! We had a late lunch at Pick up Stix and by then both the kids were pooped (mission accomplished) so we went home and put them down for naps.

So Luke just went to his fantasy football draft and we are just hanging out.Me and the kids are going to take baths, get in our pjs and watch a movie. Perfect ending to a relaxing weekend. And then Monday comes........
