Baby Brooklyn!!!

OK I am TERRIBLE!!!! I have kept meaning to post about new baby Brooklyn and I havent gotten around to doing so. Yes, thats right, there is another baby amongst us!!! My friend rachel from high school (Trotter:party of 4 on my list of buddies) had baby number 2 May 14th... a chubby beautiful baby girl that her husband finally let her name Brooklyn! I got the text on my way out to the river that she had finally arrived after multiple due dates and postponed induction dates! Of course she finally has her once we leave!!! 8lbs 13oz of pure cuteness. Unfortuantely since everyone was sick last week and this week has been nuts I havent been able to go see this cute little ball of chub... but I cant wait to meet her! And to take her 2 year old Micah off her hands for awhile (I know how hard it is to adjust to a 2 year old and a new baby!) Anyways, Congratulations Rachel and Chad!!!

Playing Hookie!

Wendy callled me this morning and told me they were playing hookie from school cuz a bunch of kids were sick in the class, so we thought it would be a good idea to follow. Last thing I want is my kids gettting sick right before Luke leaves for a week. So we met Wendy Landon and Logan at the Irvine Zoo/Park again. Its $2 to get in.... cant beat that! They have bears, mountain lions, coyotes and a petting zoo which my kids love. We saw the animals, packed some lunches and ate at the picnic benches then let the kids play for awhile. Then we had the boys ride their bikes down to the train ride to ride the choo choo then get icees. Another fun day, and a hot one actually!!

Crazy peacocks, this picture is not zoomed in AT ALL this is really how close they come to you. We were eating lunch and these freaky ass birds wouldnt leave us alone. Jack found this huge branch or leaf or something.. he was so proud Then we saw monkeys in the trees.. o wait those are our kids! How cute is Logan's cheese!!

DISNEYLAND!!!

Sooooooooooo after some debate and buying twofer tickets a month or so ago we decided lets just get season passes again! We put our twofer tickets towards our passes so we basically broke up the bill.... and just got the cheapest pass. Basically we can only go during the week and not at all in July or half of August, and most of decmber. However, Luke and I hate lines so we dont want to be there on weekends, or during the summer when its not only crowded but 100 degrees and we could be using our Wild Rivers season passes! So it really work out well for us. Plus Lari has one, as well as Wendy and Jake and the boys, and the Widners. So we have plenty of friends to go with too! The boys and I went up around 2pm on Tuesday and went on some rides til daddy got there about 5pm and we had dinner, watched a parade and did some more rides, bought some Nemo guys and left around 8pm. It was perfect. Heres some pics of the troublemakers at the happpiest place on earth.

No More Sickos!

So the sickness is gone but how cute are these pictures I took of my sick babies.... poor guys! I didnt get one of Luke but there is nothing cute about him when hes sick, he is such a drama queen. It drives me nuts. But the ilness got passed to not just kylee but my other niece Sophia then my brother Eric got it too. Way to go Wyatt... spreading your sick germs everywhere. Saturday we went for a quick lunch after I was a doll and Luke sleep til 1015am when the boys were up at 630am! Then he went to play golf with the boys at2pm, then we met them at Lampost for some pizza and the boys were off to Captain creams (some hole in the wall strip club with cheap drinks lol). I strictly told him the next morning I was sleeping in. Of course the boys dont get up til 830am that day. Go figure! Sunday we met my brother and Brandi at the swap meet, where we all bought nothing but fruit and veggies to take home. LOL exciting huh.... Then we were off to Johns for a BBQ. monday was spent cleaning and doing all the laundry that had piled high from everyone being sick (its thusday and im still not done). Then to marc and Brandis for a BBQ and the best chocolate souflet EVER! Brandi made it... so good! Then we kicked their asses in Joker (ok they beat us one game, we won the other!) Anyways, thats the short of our weekend, hope you all had a good memorial day weekend too!

Wedding Time....

So we just did wedding 1 of like 4 in the next 6 months or so. Friday night we went to Melissa and Danny's wedding (Melissa works with Luke). It was at Tustin ranch Golf Club. It was very pretty, she looked amazing and we had a lot of fun! The ceremony was outside and although it cleared up and was dry in time for the wedding it was still freezing!! Luckily the reception was inside! Our table was crazy, well at least Luke and Jon were, as usual. Jon, Lukes boss and really close friend (too close if you asked me, homos!) is sending me some hilarious pictures from the night. Him and I picked on Luke for awhile. We told our table the story of bread shoulder.... a hilarious incident from the Ritters wedding last summer. Luke and his friend Josh wwere setting pieces of bread on peoples shoulder and waiting to see how long it took them to notice. Well eventually they did it to one of the dorky waiters and we had our entire table on the floor rolling. I know, mature huh?!? So Luke tells this story at the wedding friday night and Jon proceeds to get Luke over and over again. I thought it was hilarious. Luke was finally getting so mad we were using his game against him. O man, cant wait to get those pictures. Then he just happens to be talking about how he is the "gentle giant" and what perfect timing... I set a green bean on his shoulder and snapped a picture before he knew. However the gentle giant comment and the green bean on his shoulder had me calling him the Jolly Green Giant all night. LOL LOL o we were all dying laughing. Except for Luke anyways..... it was a fun night. Congrats Melissa and Danny!!!

CUTEST NEW WORD!!!

Of course he says this after i post his new words.... but this is the cutest thing ever so I think it deserves its own post. (Im so gay).... he got a wooden helicopter from Michaels the other day cuz I was going to paint them with the boys. So he just showed me it and says "Hewotopa".... by far my favorite word yet. I keep making him say it cuz I cant stand how cute it is. Hewo-topa! So stinkin adorable. I for sure have the cutest kids ever.........

Wyatts Weekly Word Bank

Its been awhile since I threw one of these in here.... so obviously Im not going to remeber everything. This kid is talking so much alot of it is a blur. So heres some of the latest and favorites....

1. Jet ski- (et-ski with a lisp)- He loved them at the river. Our hotel room had a river view so he would stand at the window the whole time and watch the jet skis and boats.

2. Lotion-(le-chen)-I really cant even sound it out cuz its so funny. But he is obsessed with lotion and putting it on, as long as he does it himself.

3. Wy Wys Boat-(aye aye's boat)- We told him when he first saw the boat that it was his boat and so then he was calling it Wy Wy's boat. You can only imagine the fights it led to to with his brother.

4. Sissy-(sissy with a lisp)- My friend Gianna knew there wasnt a chance for Wy to say Gianna so she taught him sissy, which is what all her neices and nephews call her. Now he sees a picture of her or anything and says sissy.

5. Gary- (gi-gi)- Our friend Gary, our dogs namesake lol, was trying to get Wyatt to say Gary and just like jackson used to he called him gi-gi. So cute.

6. Mason-(nason)- All the sudden he started saying Masons name at the river. Mason was so proud.

7. Jacket- (ja-ja)- Hard word for him but I know what hes saying.

8. Jack Jack-(Ja-ja) -alot like jacket but he doesnt say it that often anyways. He still only calls him Brother or "Rudder".

9.Monkey- (nu-ee)- One of his new fave movies his Curious George. So when he wants to watch it he calls it Monkey or nu-ee.

10. Let go-(et-go)- Ya last night in Kohls he was yelling at me cuz i grabbed his arm to walk with me and he yelled ET_GO!!!! Butthead.

11. Guitar- (ga-tar)- This one he says pretty good. He loves Jacks little guitar and is constantly trying to be like his bro.

12. Trashtruck- (chash-chuck)- He used to be deathly afraid of these things but now he hears it and freaks out and has to go to either the front door or window to watch the "chash chuck".

13. Milk-(nu)-HAHA I dunno why he says it like this but he does. Milk is pronounced NU... not a long U like ooo but a short u like UH. Its so weird.

On The Brighter Side...

So its friday and everyone is feeling better. We are finally flu free (or so I am hoping). Boys are back to normal. After Luke slept ALLLL day on wednesday he went back to work thursday and felt fine. Im still battling this sore throat ive had since before we left but I cant even complain about that after the gross stomach flu that struck the rest of them!

Last night we had Jacksons open house at school. He showed us all his work and showed daddy the sensory table. It was funny to read all the things that goes through this kids mind. He is definetely his fathers child though. In one book that the teacher put together she had asked them what they wanted for xmas. Then they draw a picture of it and she writes on the bottom what it is. She then puts everyones in a book for us all to look at. Well Jackson wrote "All i want for xmas is a motorcycle!" Imagine that. Then they each cut out a car and wrote where they would be going in their car. Jacks said "Im gettting in my car and going to the river!" SOOOOOO his fathers child. Anyways, it was so weird to go to OPEN HOUSE. He is so old its freaky. Do you realize I am going to have a 4 YEAR OLD in less than a month. HOLY CRAP!!!! Its just weird. I feel old.

After open house we grabbed some dinner and went to Kohls to find Luke something to wear for this wedding we have to go to tonight. He is such a girl. We spent an hour and fifteen minutes in Kohls. He found brown pants and shoes and a green shirt and came out in it and I almost threw up. I took one look at him and said "absolutely not". He always gets so mad when I dont like something and when I tell him that, I become the ass. Apparentely he wants me to lie to him. I honestly dont know why he asks for my opinion anyway. So he said ok how bout blue. I agreed but told him he needed lighter pants. Then after thinking for a brief moment I chased him down and said "NO I have a better idea. Black pants, a pink shirt and black shoes!" Soooo easy i figured we couldnt go wrong. We dont have to match things together or anything like that. Lucky for me he was all for it. At that point I just wanted to get the heck outta there.

So yes we have a wedding tonight for one of the girls that works with Luke. Its at the Tustin Ranch Golf Club. We went to a wedding there before and it was awesome however its raining today. Poor girl. Nothings worst than rain on your wedding day. Im gonna freeze in my dress too. Grrrrr......... the boys are spending the night at my parents AKA "nana and POPPY!" LOL Wyatt has always called my dad Papa and all the sudden one day a few weeks ago started calling him Poppy. Its hilarious. My dad loves it. Movin On....

.... yes this illness is traveling now. I got a call from my brother and brandi last night (that i didnt get til this morning) and apparentely Kylee was throwing up all last night. Not even Hunter who was with us all weekend but Kylee who we saw for like 4 hours when we got home. THENNNNNNNNNNNNN Luke woke up this morning, showers, and looks at me and says "I got it". YUP, he was poopin his brains out this morning and feels like death so is home from work today. Im crossing my fingers I dont get anything because when I get it, my days dont stop unlike all theirs. Keep me in your thoughts today!!!!!

PS... The boys are feeling much better. Fighting, wrestling, eating, playing... back to normal. O except for the diarhhea diapers I am still changing. Jack came into my room about 4am saying "Mommy, it smells really bad....." and as I am walking down the hall all I can smell is Wyatts poopy diaper... UGHHHH!!!!

Only Right... Right????

So i decided its only right that the day after we get home from vacation, reality sets in and my kids BOTH have the stomach flu. Wyatt actually threw up friday night out there in the middle of the night (sorry this may be graphic) but it was all fruit, no dinner or anything, just all the fruit he ate all day. So i figured maybe just all the acid in his stomach made it upset. He was totally fine the next day. Sunday on our way home he started getting a small case of the shits, which by the time we got to my brothers house that night had turned into full blown changing a diaper every five minutes diahrrea. Poor kid. Again just thought it was from swallowing too much lake water or traveling or something. So yesterday, when I was done posting my river blog, Jack started complainging his stomach hurt. Well its not that I didnt believe him but he has a tendency to be a drama queen, especially when his little brother isnt feeling so hot. Well I was on my way to pick up disneyland tickets, cuz we were supposed to go to Disneyland last night, and i get halfway down Ortega and Jakcson throws up EVERYWHERE!!!!!!! All down the front of him, in his car seat, the seat under him, the floor and even the back of the passenger seat. I am not a fan of barf. i would rather deal with poo smeared all over my walls then barf just once. It just doesnt set well with me. I stripped him down on the side of Ortega. And thank goodness Caley was close by cuz she was a saint and brought me towels and water to somewhat clean him up. Oh it was so gross. i drove home with my head hangin out the window cuz I couldnt handle the smell. Anyways, after cleaning the car the best I could, Luke got home and helped me finish. Jackson continued to throw up 3 more times before finally passing out around 1030pm watching a movie in his bed. I continued to change diahrrea diapers til about 10pm. Lucky for me they both slept through the night. I didnt, only cuz I was a paranoid mom and was up every half hour checking on them. Jack is feeling much better today, is obviously home from school and Im trying my best to keep him on the couch relaxing but he just wants to play.... Wish us all luck today.... and cross your fingers Luke and I dont get this bug!!!

Were Baaaccckkk!

Were home :( But we had such a good time!! Not to mention I was so ready for a vacation so I loved every minute of it. We left wednesday afternoon about 415pm and after a quick 45 minute stop in Barstow for some dinner we arrived at our storage place to pick up the boat in needles by 830. We made GREAT time. However when you dont touch your boat for a whole year and leave the cover off in the garage you can only imagine how many problems youre going to run into it! We didnt leave the storage place til 950pm! EWWW! Luckily the kids were being extremely good. And the boat really wasnt in bad shape at all. A few lugnuts had fallen off the wheels so Luke spent forever trying to get it fixed so we didnt have to be paranoid driving the last half hour to our hotel. We finally got there at about 1030. THENNNN Luke goes to check in and they tried telling him there were no non smoking rooms left "Is this ok?" UMMMMM NOOO! GROSSS! Luke says to her straight up "No absoluteyl not, i reserved a non smoking room, I have a 2 year old with terrible allergies and another toddler and they arent sleeping in a smoke filled room." After he scared her she brought the manager over and he gave us an upgraded room for free. Thank goodness. After getting settled, all kids asleep, Luke went down to gamble for awhile, only to lose.

Thursday morning after we ate breakfast he took off to go work on the boat and fix up all the little things. The kids and I went to the arcade and lunch and finally when luke came home we decided it was WAYY to windy to take the boat out so we instead took the kids to the pool. TERRIBLE idea. They were literally blowing over it was so windy. So after 20 ridiculous minutes of watching our kids fly across the pool deck we decided to go bowling. And get drunk while doing so lol. It was so fun. Wyatt slept through most of it but me luke jack and hunter had a great time. And being the stud that i am I WHOOOOOOOPED Luke. I had so many strikes. I killed him! Thursday night after everyone had gotten there we left the kids in the room and went downstairs to play some blackjack. I lost miserably but luckily Luke won $450 and we played on that ALLLL weekend. It was sweet.

Friday morning we finally got out to the water......... yayyyyyyyyy! Boat ran great, kids were ecstatic, I didnt get burnt unlike everyone else out there. The weather was perfect. Kids played two days straight and were sooo good. I stressed about Wyatt and it was totally unneeded cuz he was awesome. He was such a good boy and just loved every minute of it. They rode the jet skiis with daddy and with Travis. Hunter made friends with all the other kids out there and had a great time and was so helpful with the boys. He gave me permission to take him again lol Daddy soent the nights gambling then ending in the Calypso Lounge listening to some cover band sing purple rain all night with gary. They are such nerds. The Fitch boys and their belligerent friends were highly entertaining as usual lol I got really tipsy the second day making it hard to stand up after sitting in the same chair for an hour and half while poeple kept handing me beers. In fact that night I didnt even make it downstairs to gamble like we always do. I passed out at 10pm with the kids, set my alarm to go downstairs (thought id just take a small cat nap) and slept right through it waking up the next morning with my bathing suit on and the dress I wore out to the lake that day!!! Anyways.... thats our trip in a nutshell. Normal, relaxing, very fun time.... cant wait for the next one! Heres the fun part... pictures galore!!!
