One Tiny Hole...

... but ALOT of BLOOD!!! Ya you heard me, Blood!! Last night we were about to go brush the boys teeth and Jack rolled off the couch and hit his head on the corner of the coffee table. He was laying on the floor, kinda fake crying slash laughing. I say "cmon lets go brush your teeth." So he gets up and I gasp immediately when I see blood all over his face and all in his hand. He hears me and sees his hand and immediately starts crying. Luke looks at me with the "really amy?!" face and I cool, calm and collectively walk him to the sink as blood is dripping down his face, chest and pants. Then I take one good look at him and say "Ok peace out, I cant handle this!" and hand him over to Luke. IM SUCH A FREAKIN WIMP!!!! I grabbed Wyatt and went and brushed his teeth til I knew I was in the clear to come out (meaning when I knew most the blood was GONE!). I am so screwed if anything major ever happens to my kids. Soooo screwed. When I came back out the blood was gone, and there was just a big knot and hole in the middle of his head, right in between his eyes. Lol, a little hole for so much blood. Ughhhh I dont do blood, obviously.

Finally One Day!

We finally got one day to ourselves to do NOTHING!!! We got up late (well I did, Luke is up by 830am on Sundays now cuz hes too excited to sleep thanks to football!). He went to Johns with Bmoe to watch the Eagles game, the boys and I went to the pool for a bit, then went to Subway, picked up dad and headed to the beach with Ash, Eric and Brayden. I sat for three hours and did NOTHING!!! It was gloriouuuuusssss! I'm singing in case you cant hear me. The kids caught sandcrabs with Luke and Ash for like an hour, I did NOTHING!!! Luke swam, I did NOTHING!!! See a trend here?! Ya best sunday I had had in a looonngg time. After my glorious beach day we headed up the hill for dinner at my parents. We were surprised with a visit from my aunt Jeanne, uncle Eric and little Miss Lexie. Holy crap is she cute! I just wanna squeeze her. Mike and Lychelle were both working so she spent the night with Grams and Pops. The boys loved having another baby around, they were lovin on her most the night. So stinkin cute. Great day before another manic monday. And probably the last beach day we will have for awhile... BRING ON FALL!!

Victoryyyyy!

Another Cowboys victory! They played the South Bay Packers saturday morning and beat them 33-0. Jackson was a team captain so he was PUMPED. He got to go out and do the coin toss this week (pictures to come once our team site has been downloaded). And he played AWESOME!! Again he was blocking the two hugest kids out there. One they even called "Big Baby" so you can imagine how big he really was. The first few times they knocked him over then Jack would roll right off them and get through. He was amazing. He surprises me more and more every week. At the end of the game pow wow Coach Robert even called him out and made him stand up for doing such a great job. Boston and Wy were hilarious all game. They followed my dad around like puppy dogs. Papa at one point bought them lollipops and we died laughing at the two of them for the next 20 minutes. They crack me up. Well until Wyatt made me chase him around the entire track in the horrific heat. I almost killed him, no joke.

After the game, Luke dropped me off at the Ritters for a baby shower for Shannon Ritter and baby to be Paige! Her and Jared are expecting miss Paige to be here early november. So excited for them, and especially to see Jared with a girl :) He is gonna be wrapped around that girls finger. It was a ridiculously hot day. But the shower was fun. We all got to make scrap book pages for the Shannon, even Luke. Yup, somehow Luke and the boys ended up coming over afterwards. And when I say boys I mean ALL the boys. We ended up having a pool party, scrapbook party, lots of beer party the rest of the day/evening. We finally got home around 9pm. Can we say LONG day! But it was fun!!

Oh and did I mention Jack and i got into a marker war?? Final score... Mom:274 marks (ok I didnt really count them but it might as well had been that many!) Jackson:0

I was at a bridal shower and apparentely while Luke was doing god knows what Wy was in his bathroom going through all my makeup and decided he needed some on his face. Luke went in to get him so they could pick me up and he found him looking like this... little punk.

Obsessed Much?!

Jacksons new thing is finding anything in this house he can transform into a live football field. He sets up all the different formations and makes a complete field outta it. Then he teaches Wyatt every position and who plays that position and what they do. Think he's obsessed?! I pull out my iphone and send it to his coach :)

Happy Bday Kenna!

Sunday... somehow Gary convinced me to let Luke spend the day with him, he pulled the bday card on me. So he left at 930 to head BACK to the Ranch to watch football all day. Meaning I was flying solo this sunday, again. I hate the NFL.We headed to Jake and Kristyns for McKennas 8th bday. 8! Holy crap. So crazy. The kids swam and played amd everyone else was glued to the TVs watching football. LAME. It was kinda relazing though for the most part. Probably more relaxing than Luke being there and having to yell at him to help me watch the kids. Haha. My day ended however with Luke and really drunk gary at my house. At first I wanted to kill him, then I just laughed at him and my kids wrestling with him for an hour. He was at least entertaining.

Undefeated So Far!

So our little cowboys SPANKED the Garden grove Falcons on saturday. They won 39-0. Robert finally let some of the kids who dont normally get to run the ball try and score touchdowns because we were so far ahead. Jacksons time came and the QB fumbled so Jack didnt get to run it. I was so bummed. Im hoping another massacre happens on saturday and he gets to run it. But my little dude did incredible. Its amazing to me how much more he is understanding it and how much more aggresive hes getting. He is doing awesome. We are super proud of him. He did so great that they made him one of the team captains for this coming week. He was so excited! I had Keira with me too so my hands were full in the stands. But I had a little help from my dad too, who went and bought his first bit of cowboys merchandise to support his little man! He was funny, we were standing by the spiritwear table and he says "Well I guess if hes gonna be a cowboy for a long time I better get some gear!" LOL I loved it. After slaughtering the falcons the team headed to pizza. My slight hangover needed some cherry coke and a salad before I hurled. After a few hours there we went home, tooks naps, went to kylees soccer game, picked up dinner, brought home Hunter to our house, got dressed and headed out the door for Garys 30th bday at the Ranch. I decided I would take it easy since I still wasnt 100% from the night before. WRONG! I think i got more drunk within an hour there. Weird. I went home early with Pam and Luke took off with the boys to nothing other than CAPTAIN CREAMS. Weirdos. Happy bday Gary! Old fart!!

BLINK BABY!!!!

Friday night was pretty much rad. Myself, Lindsay, Kristyn, Gianna, Lauren and Lindsays sister Ashley had a girls night out. We went and saw Blink 182 at Verizon. Only my all time favorites, right up there with New Found Glory. They played with Fall Out Boy and All American Rejects so there were the most youngs kids of all time. I actually felt old. But it was hilarious when Blink came on finally and all these kids were almost quiet, since they knew barely any of Blinks stuff. We had so much fun. We met some friends, a bunch of guys standing behind us who were our age and felt almost as out of place as we did. They were fun. Not to mention they were our bodyguards when the huge bonfire was lit behind us on the lawn and all these kids started running around it and falling all over the place. I ended up on the ground once or twice, with people swinging at each other all around me. I even lost my flip flops at one point (thanks girl in front of me who found them!). It was nuts. But they protected us. We didnt even know their real names. We called them Jason Seigel, Vin Diesel, Star Trek and Ryan Seacrest because yes they all reminded us of someone. But they were cool. As If....

As if Lukes week couldnt get any worst right? After the dildo episode I mean. Well he has been sick for a week now, stayed home from work two days last week. Started feeling better but couldn't kick the sore throat. Sorta how I was a few weeks go. He finally went to the dr today. He has a "head infection". What the eff is a head infection you may ask?!? Wellll.... it means every orphus of his head is infected. He a sinus infection, an ear infection, a throat infection and a tear duct infection. NO JOKE. The guys a mess. And have a I ever mentioned what a baby Luke is when he's sick?! Ya, BIGTIME baby.

Adam and Eve

I have a great story for you. So Luke comes home from work today and gets right on the computer to pay some bills, but first checks his bank account. He comes out to the family room and says "Do you remember me spending $226 on something in the last few days?" Ummm no I think I would remember spending that much money. Well he had a payment pending for $226. We racked our brains for a few minutes, trying to think of a bill that may have gone through or something. It was a company called PHE Inc. Finally I googled the company thinking it was probably just a bill. But it came up as Adamandeve.com. So I clicked on it. I couldnt believe what I had seen, I immediately started dying laughing. But then we were thinking "Noway, PHE Inc has to represent something else too!" WRONG!!! Luke called this company and they tracked his "package" linked to his debit card. Apparentely Luke had bought $226 worth of sex toys and dildos and had them overnighted to VEGAS!!!! Ahhhhhhhahahahahaha I mean c'mon?!?! Is this for real?! What are the freakin chances. I mean for one to get your credit card info stolen is one thing but then to have found out you bought dildos with it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nothing is funnier than that! Ahhahahahah i spent the next half hour while Luke was on the phone with PHE Inc, who wouldnt intercept the package and the bank, who wouldnt do anything cuz the payment was still pending, telling everyone I knew! ahahaha Luke was PISSED!! He was finally done on the phone and I looked at him and his super serious pissed off face and just started laughing, which finally made him laugh. Then for the rest of the night, its all I could think about. Ahhahahahah At least there is some humor in getting your card info stolen when you buy dildos with it! Hahaha Im praying something like that doesnt end up in my stocking on xmas morning now ahahahahahahh gross!

Sunday Sunday Sunday!

FOOTBALL HAS STARTED!!! Dont know yet whether Im ok with it. Sunday morning at 9am Bmoe was here to pick up Luke for a guys day of football at Johns. They even made breakfast over there. WOW. Marc and brandi picked up the boys and took them to their friends house to swim and play while they watched football. Me, well guess what I did! Thats right, I attended a baby shower. You knew it was something right. Andreas bachelorette party was this weekend but I got so overwhelmed with football, school starting and everyone being sick, not to mention broke, that I bailed last minute. :( And Jack missed a bday party sunday too... I told you, I have to start narrowing these down cuz my bank account and our immune systems hate it! But I headed to Lindsay Blums baby shower. Her husband Justin and his family grew up across the street from me in Dove Canyon. Nice to still have them around and let our kids play. She is due next month with a girl, Kenadee. Cant wait to see Justin with a girl, its gonna be hilarious! they come from a family with 98% boys. LOL. I actually took their maternity pictures on friday night so I got a few done before I went so i could bring her some. After the shower, I picked Luke up and we went to Marc and Brandis for dinner. My fave, GUMBO!

GROSSSSS!

This week was interesting, to say the least. I was done being sick, the kids had weird things on and off, random fevers, sore throats, coughs. Keira had a fever all week, along with a throat infection. Sophia and her dad Jon were home all week with fevers and strep. And then there was Luke. He finally caught it. Fevers, sore throat, achey body, sinuses, and best of all PINK EYE. He was home from work thursday and friday. Not fun for me. It has been going around like crazy. So watch out for our household. And watch out for the gross scary monster with PINK EYE!

Gotta Love PJ

Saturday after football we went to beachfire for lunch and then home for some much needed naps, I slept for like 3 hours. Best ever. Then we headed to my parents for dinner. They had Parker so they wanted the boys to come and play. Welllllll Parker didnt want much to do with them. LOL He just wanted to hang with me and my mom, and go pee every 5 minutes, whether it was in his pants or in the toilet lol. My mom and I were dying laughing at how many pairs of clothes/pull ups/diapers he went through in an hour and a half. I dont miss the days of potty training lol. Then the poor baby gets up off the toilet and slips in his pool of pee that had accumulated on the floor and lands smack on his ass. I had tears pouring down my face. We finally left him in a diaper, then he wanted shoes and socks on so my dad helped him with that. He walked around like that the rest of the night. Another tears rolling down my face incident. Apparentely by the end of the night, we had worn him out because he fell asleep at his high chair with a plate of "Parker style Taco Salad". LOL Ahhh gotta love the PJ!!! Parker you will hate me for this someday... but just know its all outta love!! <3

First Real Game!

So the Cowboys are officially 1-0 to start the season! We were up at 530am on saturday morning, met the team at Starbucks at 630am and were off to Fountain Valley for the first game. We played the Barons. Finally a team that wasnt waaay bigger than all of our players. Let me just tell you how intense this game was! Who knew 5-7 yr old flag football could be so intense!! They had an announcer and everything. I think he made us more nervous than we should have been! It was crazy. They ended up beating the barons 12-6. Jack played great, he is still learning but is finally figuring out exactly what hes supposed to be doing out there. Best part is he is having a blast doing it! He LOVES football. Makes me happy :) Well all of it except the 530am part.
