Wow... Im blogging on a monday about what happened over this past weekend... I dont remember the last time that happened. However today, thanks to the crappy Santa Anas here in the OC, we are having a stay in our PJs, dont go outside, watch a million movies kinda day. Jack stayed home from school today cuz last night he had a fever and still isnt a million bucks today (Ill keep ya posted on that cuz I still have no idea whats wrong with him). But they had a lack of sleep kind of weekend. They didnt go to bed til almost midnight both nights and still woke up at the usual 730am. So I think between the weather and the lack o
f sleep he is now paying for it.

Weekend Recap
This weekend went by way too fast. But it was a good one. And for the first time in WEEKS maybe even months, we had NO parties or anything to attend. Next weekend it starts all over again though! Friday night was a good night. We went to Marc and Brandis for dinner and we had the best dinner EVER. Crab legs!!! MMMMMMM they were so good. We bought so much crab and all four of us felt sick after cuz we had eaten so much. Jack probably ate more than i did too but it didnt seem to phase him. That kids loves seafood. Then we played our usual Joker and Brandi and I FINALLY lost to the boys... I know, crazy huh?!?! They were so proud, so so proud. We had put the kids upstairs to watch a movie figuring they would fall asleep but they didnt, I was shocked when I walked up at 1130 to find them both still awake. O well, they will sleep in right? WRONG!! Both came waltzing into our room at 730am... BLAH!!! Luke went and got bagels and we went to Jacks soccer game. This was the first ti
me Luke had been there for a few weeks and actually the first time he really got to see him play, NO MELTDOWNS!!! Its been so much better the last few weeks and Jack loves it now. Its really fun to watchh him and he is actually pretty good! This week they learned how to pull the ball back and do throw ins and he is getting really good at trapping. When they go to play their game Jack made sure he counted every goal he made and by the end, scoring the winning goal again, he had scored 7 goals! Only one was in the wrong goal but it didnt matter to him. He was one proud little boy and we were proud parents, he had done awesome that day and just to see him play instead of wanting nothing to do with it was a really nice change. However we didnt realize til the next day how bad the Santa Anas were that day. Jacks cheeks were so chapped and we all felt in in our head and our chapped lips. It was actually nice weather when we were out there, so we thought. After the game we headed to target then off to Fridays for lunch. By the time we got home both boys were asleep and Luke and I sat our butts on the couch and watched a movie for awhile.
Then it came time for the Boston/Tampa game (go Tampa) and everyone came over to watch it. Lindsay and i went to the
store and bought stuff to make Tostada Pizzas with and I couldnt resist buying some pumpkins so I could make pumpkin seeds. Dinner was yummy. But then it was time to clean up and bring out my pumpkins!! The kids and I cleaned out the suckers while everyone else watched the game. And let me just tell you it was soooo worth the slime and pumpkin guts! I love pumpkin seeds. We all devoured them throughout the night.
