Is it Fall Yet?

It is definetely starting to feel like fall here. Its cold, about to rain, and just plain old gloomy. The kids actually wore long sleeve pjs to bed last night! So weird, i thought we had another month or so before I had to do that. But it was kinda nice. Im actually enjoying this change of weather. Im not dripping sweat when I am trying to get the kid in and out of the car and we can go outside without layering my white babies in sunscreen. I get to throw on sweats and curl up on the couch with a blanket! I love it! Other than the fact that fall means no more bsaeball games, I am pretty excited for this.

Fall also means, back to school for the kids of course. Which means parents have to attend Back to School Night. Yup, Luke and I had back to school night last night. So funny. We people watched quite a bit, considering other than one other couple we were for sure the youngest parents there. Most of them had gray hair, or at least will in another 5 years. Haha we are so horrible. But it was interesting to see. The other couple about our age were sorta entertaining, the mom had blond hair with pink streaks running through it. Bet her kid is the biggest punk on the playground haha. We went to jacksons class after the big parent meeting and got to see some of the stuff hes done so far. Then Miss Amanda had asked the parents to draw a picture, with crayons of our family. Well you know this is right up Lukes alley so he went right to work. While the other parents were drawing stick figures Luke had a full photo of each of us, starting with Gary dog, who had all the right exact markings. He had way too much fun with this. He put an Angels hat on himself and a polka dotted dress on me (so not cool). Wyatt had a curl on the top of his head so he looked like a teletubbie, we were cracking up. Miss Amanda said jack is the youngest in the class (mind you he was in a pre k class the first day!) . She said he is doing very well, he is quiet but just a happy go lucky boy in there. I was so glad.

Luke and I had our first softball game on wednesday night. They put us back in the lower league this season, dont know why since we came in third last season in the higher league. But we all just looked at it as a positive thing because we know we just wipe the league clean with our pink Brokebat shirts. Needless to say we won on wednesday. This league should be a breeze. Im kind of looking forward to it.

Anyways, to make a few long stories short, Fall is here! And im actually really excited about it! o PS. This is the kids new favorite thing to do, Wyatt basically tackles Jackson and will smack him or pretend to tickle him or something but Jack, being such a nice older brother, lets him do it. He will lay there just cracking up while Wy wails on him!

It is weird being the youngest parents... totally know that feeling.
Your boys are seriously soooo cute!
I am cracking up at your pink Broke back shirts....that is sooo funny!
Jeremy and I have a big poster of that movie hanging in our basement, although neither of us has seen the movie. We saw it and started cracking up, we just had to have it. There have been a few awkward moments when people we have just met,(they don't know our sense of humor) come over. Too funny!
