Friday night we had a party at our house for one of my best friends, Kelly, who moved to Colorado on Sunday :( I spent the day cleaning and getting things ready and finally everyone showedwith loads of food and goodies. Luke picked up this delicious carnitas and we had tacos, rice and beans, chips and guac... all the fixins! We had about 30 people here to say their last goodbyes to Kel and send her on her way. It was perfect outside so we all sat out there and had dinner, we watched the Angels vs Yankees game (Kel is a Yankee fan so we even missed Olympics opening ceremonies to watch the Angels crush the Yankees, sorry Kel!!) and made lots of margaritas. It was fun... but I was so sad to see Kelly go. After she left it kinda finally hit me that she was really leaving. I am so bummed. She is such a great friend, in so many ways, and such a huge part in the boys life. They absolutely love her.. she was my number 1 babysitter!!!! We are all really gonna miss Kelly but wish her nothing but success and happiness in her move... and also wish she will be back ASAP :) We love you Kel and miss you already!!!!
