Supercross!!!

So saturday was a fun day.... Luke and I got up, took the boys to the gym with us, went home, showered, ate lunch, put the boys down for an early nap while we got ready to go and by 3pm we were off to Supercross. We met up with Lari, Ethan, and Lukes parents, who treated us all to this fun time! We walked around the pits for awhileand checkout out all the fun stuff... Jackson always loves walking the pits and seeing all the bikes and boats and what not. Did i mention this was Wyatts 1st Supercross? He was so content looking at everything from his stroller as we walked through the pits but finally on our way out was getting restless so rode the rest of the way on Daddys shoulders... as his brother had the same view from Grandpa's. Spoiled boys :) We finally walked back to the cars so we could all bundle up in our many layers before getting to our seats. It was cold out. It was supposed to rain so Luke was fully prepared with rain suits for the four of us and hand warmers haha. However we got lucky and no rain came! Luke and I stood in line to get Panda inside the stadium and we were ever so lucky to have the presence of a bunch of teenage punks in front of us. Complete with ridiculous multi colored hair, huge plus in their ears, tight dirty pants and bandanas hanging out of their pockets, high as a flippin kite and dropping the F-bomb every other word... Oh did i mention the swaying and tripping over themselves- ya, high as a kite! They were so gross. They were every where that night it seemed like. There was a dad standing behind us totally disgusted that he finally left and went to get a hot dog. Dont blame him. We almost did the same. Ughhh... if my kids ever turn out that way dont be surprised if they are sent to boot camp. Anywaysssss..... the kids loved supercross. Wyatt enjoyed it alot better than monster trucks... there was no hiding his face every time an engine revved. He loved it. However, it was a long day and both of them were passed out around 9pm, with still an hour left to go of the races. They were spent. It was a fun time, and an annual thing we always look forward to. We were glad Gene and Sue got to come with us this time too! Definetely a treat to share it with them!!
